What is he QQing about? yoshi p. will make the ride have a airship scene it is just not coming in right now. This means no option to skip it it's not a ff13 cut scene.... can you skip the ferry? no. then this will not get over it.QQ MORE OP. Most people these days just want to play the game not stand around waiting for a ship then waiting after you get on a ship whether it is in the air or the sea. What I would like to see though is that the people who choose the take the longer travel options have the option to access content that insta travelers do not. Have some mini games, quests, and maybe certain type of battle encounters which you will get rewarded some kind of points or tokens that you can use to purchase things with, or heck maybe ever have it where you get extra Grand Company marks.
God forbid people want to be able to travel instantly somewhere and if they have the option for both then most everybody will be happy. Some won't because some will be like you and find the next thing to complain about.
Might as well not implement Airship at all, just have a NPCs where the ports for the Airships are, Talk to NPC and warp to the arrival location.
As long as the "skip" command exist, everyone will use it. Its like saying you start your game with all characters level 50, max gil, all gears or you have the option to level from 1 with nothing, whats the point of playing?
Goodbye, Final Fantasy...
no, people will use the boarded ship when there is reason. kill mobs, fish, and whatever else se has plans for it. there might be nm's again and even more goodies that we don't know about when we board the ship. but most games have the zone to zone porting pretty instant with a quick cutsceen for the loading and that sounds about right for me. boats go to for content or for quick teleports. both works well. i bet the boats will still be nice and full for awhile when implemented. well if our server pop wasn't crap to begin with it would be. and when ps3 launches as well.
airship 5-10 minute ride, end of discussion.
I think I will Anima should be use for go to Camp and use Airship for between the city.
But if I have party sharing anima to teleport around is good idea.
It's right to be wrong, It's wrong to be right.
If this is about who has a life and who doesn't, my question is how are you burning up your 100 anima as not to afford the 3 it costs to teleport to a city that you need airships to be instant? If your RL is so demanding, you should always have at least the 3 anima....How dare them make the game fun for people who have a life!!!!
You make a good point, their is always going to be a demographic that wants it this way. They want everything handed to them, they are also the first players to leave when they are bored or something isn't givin to them on a silver platter.
I'd prefer my game to not be designed for these kind of players.
The airship should not have an option to skip, this isn't wow, this not ffi either, but as in ffxi there were rides that took time, there is a ferry that takes time, the Op is not a complainer here people wanting stuff easy are.
Yoshi P. I will say it again if you look at these posts or have the mods look at them for you, make the airship a mandatory, 5-15 minutes ride, just like the ferry, just like the ffxi airships. No other thing matters, end of it all.
It is not fair to others, and it will make anima pointless. What adjustments to anima would have to be made if this is so instant travel and can be skipped? might as well remove it, or only allow teleport to camps or regions. SEE? makes no sense, right?
Leave anima alone and have the airship like it was in ffxi, this is how it should be. Anyone complaining quiet hush.
