Seriously, the people crying about giving the option for both crowds is ridiculous.

Obviously people run out of Anima. It's not some magic "oh you're using it wrong", it happens. Giving those people the option to use Gil to take an Airship and still quickly get to some of the areas (note, not all the areas you can get to with Anima, SOME of them) isn't ruining your "immersive world". Because YOU can still choose to take the long option.

Why does it affect you people so much that everyone doesn't want to do it your way? Because that's how they did it in FFXI? Guess what, airships in FF since time immemorial were made for fast travel. FFXI is technically the bastard child here, not the other games. Be happy that both sides get what they want and stop trying to ruin other people's fun.

It's like people complaining about fast travel in Elder Scrolls/Fallout games. Nobody's telling you you have to not take the horse and ride or walk where you want to go, go do it.

There doesn't have to be a time paradox going on or bending reality or whatever you would call it(I know its a game a fantasy game, but there still has to be some laws of nature). If you want something instant please use the anima SE gave you, if you don't have 1-5mins to spare(just guessing how long it would take to ride the airship). This is just silly, I don't even know how you guys think. If you could enlighten me on your ways, I would be in much appreciation. THE END </STORYTYME>

I don't understand why people even play MMO anymore i thought the reason is to kill time. But now it to save time? how does that even make sense. We never going to enjoy the airship due to everyone telling us to skip it just like you said.

People don't get it that there most be a time sink in a game or people would get bored when they get everything done with a small amount of time and there noting to do. The NM they added sure low drop rate i still got all the item within 30min of fighting them at level 36 pug and a 36 conj. The only one i'm still missing is the dam belt from the boar lol.

Anyways every game had a time sink look at wow it take a long time to get max level and the 1month of played i go ya this more casual then FFXI but it still bored the hell out of me due to only having, Quest,dungeon,PVP that it o.o

people forget without time sink you going to ask for more stuff to do and SE can't keep up they need to learn that you can't make everyone happy. I'll wait to this goes p2p for the real great minded people stay if it still stay with people wanting everything done asap then i guess i'll deal with it.

With the way content is spooling out I expect players to be givin jetpacks and be able to warp to any <pos> on the map at any givin time because doing it any other way is a waste of mine and other peoples time.

the "Give it to me now" mentality will ruin us, christ I remember getting access the airships in XI was a downright right of passage for your ingame experience, until you hit that point in the game you damn well walked wherever you needed to go. You earned your chocobo, you earned your airship, you earned your teleport and warp spells.

You were rewarded with better means of transport when you sacrificed your time or effort or resources to obtaining them.

Everyone is so entitled I will be suprised if there is anything worth earning in this game when all is said and done. It's all about "My time" and not about the adventure, it's not about the reward anymore. It's not about reaching rank 30 and saying "**** Yeah! I can finally go do my quest and get the airship pass! Going to the other cities will be a breeze now!"

It's. I WANT IT NOW!

So please allow me a bit of displeasure at the system even if your a supporter of it, at the end of the day what is the point of playing if their is nothing to earn, nothing to acheive. Hell the most we have right now is being able to enter the darkhold once you hit 45...yay.
