a drg beat me in PvP riot pls nerf

I'm just here to see the people eating popcorn.

I personally prefer caramel but I just realized that the ones I ate are gourmet caramel popcorns (the really crunchy ones). I never really ate them when I watch movies considering I buy them when I pass by those shops rarely and I just happen to not have any movies to watch when I ate them. Now I'm starting to wonder if I would prefer salty or sweet caramel popcorns for when I watch movies. Sweet doesn't really go well with soda, does it? What do you guys think?

Dps is fairly balanced.
Drg Just seems OP compared to most because your average player Will do better on drg than say monk or ninja.
after getting buff after buff in almost every patch update, now dragoons are too powerful.
in PvE content they're doing highest damage compared to any DPS jobs.
in PvP, they can win against almost every job in a fairly 1 on 1 situation.
in the upcoming Heavensward they're being featured as some kind of a poster boy.
please treat every job equally.
Equalisim is for the weak, instead of having the gap purposefully closed so that you can do more damage how about doing a better job at your role so you beat them, it's not hard, it just takes some intelligence and learning.
Not playing properly,Top dps will be :
1st DRG , 2nd NIN , 3rd MNK

NIN friend and I (DRG) are usually very close to each other in damage until the target swaps start. That is when I seem to start falling behind. Think the piercing debuff combo being attached to a DOT hurts DRG a little on mobs that die in 2 combo chains.
In any case I have to agree with what was said in this quote
Talking PVE...
I hope DRG gets some group utility with the xpac. Our stun is unwanted and our slow is a joke.
We do have a few things going for us though.
We do well with TP making it so the Bard or Ninja have 1 less person to worry about.
We can jump off hate allowing us to spike up damage and not hurt the team by pulling threat.
We are flexible in our ability to AOE decently as far as current melee go.
We buff Bard with piercing debuff on enemy mobs.
With xpac:
It would be great to have a second option that is not a DOT to combo off of Disembowel.
(Super reach here) Would be cool to get an INT down that dose not stack with Monk's Dragon kick or some other kind of skill that helps keep a party up through unavoidable damage.

For raid utility, the most useful DPS job will be
1st NIN & BRD (damn these dex-user jobs ..) : songs,goad,trick attack,etc etc bla blah ...
2nd MNK - Dragon Kick,Mantra, sometimes Arm of destroyer or even One lim punch ...
3rd DRG - Disembowel , Die faster than other dps job(for non-main healers,if you want to be better at healing and raising, try run instances with DRG and you'll be a good healer in no time ! DRG will teach you about mp management)
No offense,my lizard friends.

If they would just have given us the "temp invincible" while jumping that last bit would not hold true.Additional

Also I'd like to point out that although technically MNK would be number one DPS, to put it in numbers sake its like saying
MNK achieves 500 damage per second
NIN achieves 495 damage per second
DRG achieves 490 damage per second
or in a 5 minute fight (about the average we actually spend attacking bosses; this is minus the time spent doing mechanics)
MNK does 150,000 damage in 5 minutes
NIN does 148,500 damage in 5 minutes
DRG does 147,000 damage in 5 minutes
or to see the it the other way in terms of how long each job would take to deal 150,000 damage
MNK would take 5 minutes 0 seconds
NIN would take 5 minutes 3 seconds
DRG would take 5 minutes 6 seconds
Its pretty negligible. Now that being said MNK definitely offers the most to the party in terms of helping others.
Monk
Dragon Kick (Blunt dmg +10% and mob INT down), Mantra (healing bonus), 1-Ilm Punch (dispel), Arm of the Destroyer (silence), Shoulder Tackle (Stun), Steel Peak (Stun)
NIN
Goad (TP regen), Trick Attack (10% dmg increase for 10s)*, Dancing Edge (mob healing -20%, slashing dmg +10%), Jugulate (Silence/Stun depending on stance)
DRG
Spineshatter Dive (stun), Leg Sweep (Stun), Feint (20% Slow), Disembowel (piercing dmg +10%)
*Trick Attack I would not really consider a "viable" reason to find a NIN as trick attack is on a 60s cool down and the effect only lasts for 10seconds, meaning a 50 second window of the ability not being able to be used, but for giggles I included it
So yeah, while MNK is top DPS by small bit (as they are almost all equal) MNK also offers the most beneficial party abilities. Which makes it a bit unbalanced. In fact if anything, if DRG doesn't get any more abilities to help the party they should in all rights be the top DPS all the time, and by a noticeable amount, as the DPS factor (glass cannon) and no party based abilities would offset the MNKs DPS with a bunch of party based abilities. Just saying.
