People in the English General Forums don't like to read. I guess that's why my post about "If You Could Create A Side Quest" got moved to the Quest forums by the mods, where the minority go to actually read, yet all these "D'aw a picture!" threads get to stay here.

You can even look at my post history and you'll see that I made a thread a while back where I really gave hell to a group who kicked a newbie out of Praetorium because he got lost for a moment. I absolutely cannot stand when people do things like that to new people. I know I was tempted to give up and quit the game after the bad experiences as a new person. I'm sure the thought has crossed the minds of other new people as well.
i agree that annoys the ehemm out of me aswell.. seen it happen way to often.. even seen some1 get abused for going to help the 1st timer find thier way back to the group... attitude of some people these days is just *facepalms*

Me and my friend did not need experience.

So I am entitled for choosing to not kill optional mobs, when it's my role to make that choice in the first place? Okay then....

Perhaps I am wrong for choosing to make my tank vote be the tiebreaker. Guess my friend and I are not equal to the other guy and his friend in value.
So you saw that someone needed the experience but you chose not to help, even though they requested it? That's nice. Sure they could have asked nicely. But they did ask. It doesn't matter if it was a tied vote or not; the point of sub-50 dungeons is for levelling up and you refused to help someone do that because of your belief that tank opinions are worth more than DPS. Calling them entitled? That's the pot calling the kettle black. The princess part of your character name is very apt.

With the semi-exception of letting seeds hatch in AV. If you do it right it doesn't really take any more time and it's 10x the exp. If you're killing seeds off for your 'speed run' you're just kind of a dick. But that's the only exception.
I honestly had no idea for a long time that the seedlings gave EXP whereas the fruits did not, in part because I mostly didn't run the dungeon until I was already level 50. So don't be too quick to get all uppity on someone for that reason; a lot of people might not even know.

And for the billionth time. I did not refuse to help them. I offered him a way to get his full clear, I offered him a compromise. I asked him to AoE, not demanded him to, so that it wouldn't take forever for us to complete the dungeon. And he said no and that he and his healer would force us to do it 100% their way.

I know, I know. I'm a terrible person for wanting to get 10% of what me and my friend wanted while giving him 90% of what he wanted. Asking him to press his one AoE button is asking so much while we clear the whole dungeon for him in the meantime.

There are multiple points to sub-50 dungeons. Leveling up is one use of them. Grand Company quests, which is why we were there, is another. One person wanted a full clear because they wanted extra experience, one person wanted that person to get their full clear though they did not need the experience, and two people wanted it done ASAP. What gives someone in there for one reason more of a personal value than someone who is in it for another?

When tanks' jobs are to pull mobs, yes, their opinions on pulling mobs carries more weight in a tie. If you disagree, please explain why tanks are considered by the community and made by SE to be the go-to mob pullers.

You won't see anything other than what you're looking for in my post though and will continue to assume assume and assume about me as a person and ignore things I've said, like that I am more than happy to clear if treated like a human, so I'm wasting my time I'm sure.

saying "no skipping anything" is a demand and not asking
maybe if they said"hey can we do a full clear i need the xp" op might of had a different tone towards dps. you dont go into any dungeon a DEMAND player what to do no mattter what role, it sets a bad vibe for everyone

Problem is easily solved. Let the dps pull like they want to, let the healers spam Earth II, and let the tank heal. (remove your crystal, you'll be able to cross-class Cure! and raises !)

    Sounds fun, right ?

If the guy had asked I could totally understand a lot of the 'debate' going on from solely DPS players.. but here's the thing. No tank has to stay in a que with you. It's their choice to slap on their tank class and que up, AND stay in that group. Whether you treat them like another player with needs on time, XP, or anything else or a mule that will kick you out or ditch que to find DPS with a better attitude and understanding that they're sitting in que waiting for another tank without them for that matter is up to them. Treat your group with respect (everyone involved) and awareness rather than treating them like a kleenex and you're more likely to get through the instance with fewer hitches. Lastly.. dude, you will do that instance again. And again, and again and again. Especially if you're doing random dailies, unlocking content, or just gearing for the next tier.

So no matter what role you're in? Chill the flip out and accept if you want that tank or healer to KEEP his tank/heals gear on and stay in your que so you can get it done rather than have to reque for another half hour wait? It's probably a good idea to not screw with the rest of your group by overstepping your role boundaries too much or trying to force ANYONE to do anything they don't want or have to do for you as if they're your pack mule. Tanks aren't there FOR YOU TO QUE or do what YOU want as players themselves, and treating them like they are is probably why high end, good tanks are getting harder and harder to find.. because seriously. Who the feck wants to deal with that BS, AND WHM and BM aggro every if not every other que?

    XD
