I would imagine that if you were to swap RS and XPot you would get the GCD delay that you were trying to avoid in the first place. And if you were to put both Painflare + RS before XPot then the Painflare doesn't get the XPot and that makes it straight up equivalent to my own 2F/1P opener.

Yeah I meant like Ruin 2 > RS > Ruin 2 > Pot+Painflare. The GCD delay is worth having Deathflare buffed by pot I would think ? I could be wrong though.

Its pretty easy to calculate delay dps cost.

Delay dps cost is 80*delay/gcd.

If we assume a 2.4 GCD, and a 0.5 sec delay, then we've effectively lost 16.7 potency.

I don't really know how much damage pot gives, but its easy to see that if it gives you a 4% dps bonus it would be worth it.

I'm getting similar results with a different rotation, guhuhuhue. Those draconian pots are just not worth it though, they are very expensive. Hopefully the new patch will bring new recipes with the new crafting gear. Anyway I will post my results soon.

Also, what are you getting with Ifrit ?

Lower, but expected on a dummy. Ifrit Radient Shield doesn't contribute to the parse so at that point contagion is the clear winner on the pet battle. Video is still processing on youtube - apparently copy right infringement for using music.

I wrote the opener I use down incorrectly that's somehow gotten somewhat known. If anyone tried using it exactly in the form I wrote down, my apologies, the real version I currently use and meant to write originally is:

B2 > M > B > Swift + Fester > R2 > Pot > R2 > RS + Pain > R2 > Fester + DWT > R2 > Aether + Enkindle > R2 > 3D > R3 > R2 > Fester > R3 > R2 > Deathflare

I'd left out an R3, whoops. You can replace the final R2 with an R3 at the end with Selene into raw Deathflare, but be warned it doesn't work without, you'll straight up lose your Deathflare.

The getting a potted Deathflare thing, that's probably better though. Probably one of, if not the strongest known opener, especially if say your NIN's TA or DRG's Litany would hit the Deathflare at that stage but not a couple GCDs later.

Yeah I rs before int pot to df with int as seen in the video. I also miasma after df than contagion. I think it helps.
