Any tips on the summoner 65 quest? I make it to the last sliver of the boss's HP and the friendly NPC goes down every time. This is with my pet tanking the mobs.

For almost every jqs count killing mobs asap in between of mob waves focus boss : o
I test some ifrit today in pf party in O2S if anybody interested. In general it feels stronger than garuda for physical damage based party. Ifrit can also die easier for cleaves if you dont pay attention where your pet is, but in general it is easier play with ifrit because you dont need line up all your cooldown with contagion and you have more room adjust your rotation.

I'm not a max level SMN yet, but I'm already feeling the "...from the beginning of the fight, a SMN’s DPS is in constant decline." I think this class may be too hard for me. I always feel like I'm making the wrong decisions in the heat of the moment.
I'm finding on average, Radiant Shields overall damage is about equal to Flaming Crush and Crimson Cyclone. I had problem before count radiant shield damage before because fflogs did not show it, but today I noticed it have been updated. These numbers are based by my weekly v1s 4.3k summoner parse. Seems like ifrit bring physical vulne that is overall worth of 100 dps for physical dps classes and radiant shield bring another 100 dps (that also depends on fight). So SMN utility is close 250 dps(with devotion) if using ifrit in solo caster party. That is actually overall more damage increase than embolden from RDM(but you sacrifice little your own dps so its not the same). Garuda may provide more personal dps, but ifrit more raid dps utility imo.

overall = 49k
encounter time = 7min 11sec = 431 sec
49 000 damage / 431 second = 114 dps
If every physical dps class do around 4k dps and tanks like 3k dps that is total 18k physical dps.
18000 x 0.02(ifrit buff) x 0.33(uptime) = 119 dps

Bringing this thread back up so it does not get forgotten. Anyone knows the difference in stat weight of Dh vs Det for Summoner?
Direct Hit is the best stat for SMN (and most DPS classes, for that matter.)
But what are the wieght in general, I know Direct hit is the best but I wanna know where the rest are
