    Pain Flare is a loss vs Fester, but sometime you want to enter fast in the DWT.

    By using 2 Fester and 1 Pain Flare, you enter the DWT faster, so you do not miss the Ninja's trick attack, or the Battle Litany from the Dragoon. Also, the opener is shorter (3 Festers require 10s, 2 Fester and 1 Pain Flare require 5s), so you might lose 100 potency, but for a shorter period of time. Dps is not that much reduced. And since it's the opener, we have 3 Aethers waiting us when we end the DWT.

    Edit : In fact, using 2 Fester and 1 Pain Flare seems better to me.

    3 Festers : We launch them in 10 sec : 900 potency over 10 sec : 90 P/s
    2 Festers + 1 Pain Flare : 800 Potency over 5 sec : 160 P/s
    1 Faster + 1 Pain Flare + 1 : 650 Potency over about 2,5s to 3s : 500 P/s (this one seems a bit odd to me. Maybe it's not as efficient on the field).

    So basically, as long as your 3 1st Aethers are free, it's in theory better to no open with 3 Festers.
    This is only true when you have 3 Aether right after you end your DWT. This does not apply if you delay your Fester to get this situation . (IE : only apply during opener, or other rare situation)

    would also be possible to save Lucid Dreaming for Bahamut Phase and spam Ruin 3 instead of 1

    I think Virus does not proc bahamut's attack
    You don't need the Lucid Dream right when you start the fight. Use it when you need mana or when you are close to take aggro on the mob.
    You might want to use more Ruine 3 instead of Ruin 1. During the Bahamut phase, you maybe should use Ruine 3. at that time of the fight you still have Mana
    You can try to wait Aether flow before summoning bahamut so you can proc some Bahamut's attack with Fester. (Need further investigagion, because if Chaining R1, R2 and Fester lead to only 2 attacks, this seems pointless)
    I don't think you need to hard cast dots on that time. You cast Tri-disaster 12,5 sec before. There is still almost 17,5 Sec of them, and you should do at least one moire Ruin spell because there is still the Tri-disaster buff available for 1 gcd.
    Try to see if you can delay your first contagion. AS you wrote your rotation, it does not apply on the 1st Tri-disaster, but it does not last for the Death Flare neither. Try to it in same time of the DWT. Then you cast Tri-disaster and Death Flare about 15s later. In that way Contagion works fully on your DWT.
