I'll have to retest that, honestly. I wasn't doing anywhere near the in depth testing I did for stat weights or pet damage. I was waiting until Enhanced Pet Actions popped, cast Bio, recorded ticks by hand. Excluded crits. Only did it for like... 3 dots. So there could be a lot of outlier info there as I doubt it's anywhere near enough for an accurate baseline. I will do a more thorough test tonight though and share results since there's interest!
Awesome. Would it be much work on your "SMN Stat Weights WIP" to put a Min/Max Deviation from your Average? I see you have the Ratio listed which I think determines how close your data-points are to completion. It might just help to know with a Deviation whether it is your min or max data-point that is too high/low. (+/-5%)I'll have to retest that, honestly. The deviation will definitely help me, as I'm planning on making an actual damage model for Pets and throwing that into the Summoner model (same for Machinist Rooks), rather than saying "Pets scale X stat A times less" and mathing it that way.
I'd love to add that in, just not sure how to on the spreadsheet. I'd be happy to share editing privileges for someone to show how to put in deviation.
EDIT: I modeled the Stat Weights off of a picture Dervy linked me and he did have deviations in his but I had no idea what/how to do that. He never mentioned me putting it in so I just never bothered with it. I'm all for making the data more accurate/beneficial.
EDIT 2: Went and did my own Deviation research. I know what it is and how to get it, however, for the "SMN Stat Weights WIP" I believe it'd be impossible for me to get deviations for all of those as I didn't keep the data for each line after plugging it in (as that would be over 7200 casts I'd have had to keep, separate and log) - and doing it all over would be an insanely daunting task (took me 3 weeks to do that once). Wish I had known from the beginning >_<
However, I can EASILY add that to ALL future collection, ie: Pet Data and the DoT SS I do tonight.

Ty Chary
- To save you some time on Pet Data. Ifrit does not seem to benefit at all from SS, either through faster Burning Strikes or increased damage. - Over 22 Minutes he didn't deviate at all from 3s per skill use (used over 700 Spell Speed for testing)
- Testing for any type of damage increase I used my +130 Spell Speed set - no dice.
Edited: Thought I would try Garuda then.
24:28 - 492 Hits @ 721 SPD
= 2:98 GCD
Before anyone thinks this is an increase, I must say that I get the same exact result @ 354 Base SPD. ><
Looks like a no go for Garuda as well.
Bug Report required?
Here's my results
M2 108-119 (561 SPD)
113 Average
M2 Dot 53 - 58 - 561 SPD
55.5 Average
---------------------------------------
Would probably need to do a test of Naked/Broken weapon to find out the true story of what's going on, since my DOT portion is actually showing less than half the initial damage.
I hope it's not a case of:
Increased Action Damage does not effect dots
Dots get increased scaling from main stats.

Okay, just want to make sure Dervy sees this. I'm curious what SS is actually DOING then if it did nothing for Ifrit though notes say it should be doing something?
Interesting interesting.
Now I'm really interested. That's odd. So it seems SS is not doing anything noticeably for our pets? Might be worth bug reporting or getting clarification on by the devs.
Increase of Damage.
As I mentioned, get a linear regression of X Skillspeed with the same WD, DET, INT, CRT, on the impact of damage. You can get random ass Accuracy/SS DEX/STR accessories to try it out and absolutely max out your right-side.
Or just get the data and I'll do it. The only issue is that Skillspeed buff that you get. Is there any way to mitigate this?
My own testing with Garuda:
24:22 - 483 Swings @ 740 Spell Speed
3.026 GCD (assuming I did that right)
