The 2 best groups in the world only cleared it because they smashed their faces against it almost non-stop, and very little information about said fight is currently available. On top of that, how do you guarantee that you get the upgrade material over another dps? There are many many other things to consider besides strict numbers.

Although only 2 groups have cleared A3S, there are lots of groups putting in time as well. Lack of info is not an issue; it's the enrage which is stopping groups from clearing. Each new week of gear lowers that hurdle that much more. It's certainly not unreasonable to expect that a lot more groups will begin to clear with better weapons.

As for guaranteeing getting the Gobtwine, why would they not get it? Any serious group would prioritize giving the drop to the person who could actually use it. It's not like the entire group would be buying body over weapon.

Sort of. It's half a Simulator, half a DPS model and Excel based. And I need Raw Data to get a working Summoner Damage Model up.

What kind of data do you need?

Has anyone measured the difference between Ifrit and Garuda DPS 3.0?

At i180, Ifrit was about 50 DPS ahead of my Garuda. I haven't really compared the two since.

Does spd effect Contagion?

Contagion is an ability rather than a spell, so it's unaffected.

I'm seeing about 40~ DPS in Ifrit's favor at i191, not counting Radiant Shield which is harder to test (1000-2000 damage per use usually, on a single tank).

Garuda's just so dang safe, hard to give up the mechanical freedom (Contagion = can just Ruin spam for the next 30s, so easy to do mechanics with 100% efficiency) and consistency as of right now.
