For those who may not have noticed, the functionality of Bane has changed even though the description has not. No doubt it'll be fixed in an upcoming hotfix.

HOLD ON! So it spreads to all targets now? the damage is just cut in half after the fourth MOB. I dont believe it. Screenshots please

Can confirm, gathered 10 enemies and Baned. All died. Confirmed.

HOLY MOLY, that means SCH can do this too!!!! I dont think they needed it but since all AOE's can hit all mobs if positioned correcty in this game accept for ARR Bane. they just made it even I guess

Really? There is so many people around i didnt notice the change un Bane. Even if the damage cuts after the 4th enemy affected this are good news

Some quick testing since I think that "Data Collection" is broken? (I would really like to know what Ifrit's DPS is now with the same i130 Gear)

Bio Damage

336 DET + 408 SPD + 658 INT = 152-168
268 DET + 590 SPD + 663 INT = 157-174
305 DET + 441 SPD + 663 INT = 153-170

So it looks like Spell Speed does impact dots quite a bit.
