I'm not totally confident in reading this properly but the only thing I was curious about was if you have Miasma set for 24 seconds? I'm also not seeing anything for DF (which perhaps isn't added yet or I'm missing completely?)http://puu.sh/jJJdX/73a71f939e.png
Can people double check everything looks "okay" so far and also tell me if the DoT timings look "accurate"? If you want, I can post a pic with a desired Skillspeed (takes less than 5s to change, take pic, upload and post) so you can check timings for me.The Rotation is in Column B. The timers of the remaining duration of DoTs are Columns C, F, I , L, O and R for Dreadwyrm Trance (It's labelled Botd atm lol)
Again, no pets. Fester isn't in the GCD rotation, but instead, I've just treated it as a 10s oCD. A lot of other things I need to sort out, but that's the progress so far. Just want to check everything is "up to your standard".
Because Spellspeed affects DoT damage. Can you please explain that further, I don't understand. I get the idea of treating a dot like a nuke with the duration of the dot. Makes sense. But as the dot timer is fixed, and not a function of spell speed, I am not getting the "If you do this, you'll realize that our "CDs" scale with SS which no other class does." part.
At the end of the day, however the math ends up working, The only value I see in spell speed would be whatever additional ruin casts it would create.
Deathflare is currently in the highlighted in red, AD30. I've taken it out temporarily and just done 400/60 for the PPS, as that's the average usage of Korlex's parse. There is Deathflare in the GCD rotation (DF) but it does nothing at the moment and is just a place-holder so I can see where things go.
Miasma is 24 second, Miasma II is 15s. But, after each Miasma II, there's a Contagion being used, labelled "CON".
That makes sense, I saw the Deathlfare part later just didn't know how to make sense of it. The Miasma's make sense as well. Would collecting some pet info help when you get to that part, Dervy?
Definitely. The most important part is stuff like what Judge_Xero did for the Machinist in the SimFF thread.

So like, measure the DPS increase from 73 Det, 2 WD, and uh, around 11 -50 INT.
CRT is the same. If the same rule applies to Pets where CRT accounts for Crit Chance and Damage, then gathering CRT Damage Data will kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
Do you need full on spreadsheets like last time or will simpler numbers like what Judge provided work?
Full on Spreadsheets are always the most accurate way to measure stuff like that, but you have plenty time to do so anyway. It's going to take me another week or two to figure out how to fix these Summoner problems I'm having haha.
I think I might do Ninja in the mean time... The job hasn't changed a bit.
Will AAs suffice or do you need them cycling through their "weapon skills"/abilities as well?
Ye I'll need their AA data, then 1 of their spam-able abilities. If everyone can help with this part, it'll be a lot of help tbh. I don't need huge data-sets from people. Just Random parse logs with random stats, maybe 1-2 lines of data from from people willing to help each day. Over 1 week, I'll have enough to make some comparisons. But yeah, Crit data is very important this time around also.
I'm on it! I'll get some varying WD/INT/DET/CRT for pets and just drop the data into spread sheets and clean it up. Nothing too over-the-top or fancy like I did with the original data.
