By next week, you can have chest+gloves . Now compare those with weapon and you get

weapon: +2 weapon damage, -10 int, + 81 accuracy, -77 crit, -163 det, +143 SSPD.

Personally, those secondary stats from upgrading to weapon gives me cancer. Not to mention, the Gordian Book will end up being BiS so that's pretty much wasted ESO while the ESO chest will likely be BiS over the Gordian one.

Have we figured out a good ACC number to aim for? I'm assuming it is up something slightly larger than the ACC BLM needed for T13, but I haven't found any concrete numbers yet.

Well, world first A3 was almost done with PLD/MCH instead of DRK/BRD, missed by a few % last lockout. If they had won first, perhaps that would be the comp we as a community thinks is the best over DRK/BRD, when in reality both are probably equally able to clear at this iLVL. Honestly Luc or another top end group might clear today with a SMN and blow our minds there as well. Let's reserve judging until we see all the comps that clear this lockout, rather than who cleared very first, IMO.

If literally every group that clears this lockout rolls BLM, then yeah it will be hard to argue against that at this gear level, BLM leads to the most successful kill, either through their burst, their sustained DPS, and/or their Apoc/Manaward (both useful AF on this fight). On the flipside we might see a group who clears with higher caster DPS and a quicker clear time with SMN and then we won't know what to think then if that happens.

Lucrezia just got it with SMN. Looks like SMN MCH DRG NIN WHM SCH WAR DRK was party comp.

How so? spell speed damage increase seems significant. I'm prioritizing Crit > Spell speed > Det for that reason.

The increase in DoT damage from Spell Speed is actually pretty small. Even if Determination's increase were just as small, at least it would be applied to all damage rather than just DoTs.

That...isn't how spell speed works...

Spell speed now affects dots to BUFF them to the point where it is as good for dots as it is for casted abilities...

Its not "spell speed doesn't affect other casts" its "spell speed now makes dots as good as other casts".

In A2 problem is with the fight mechanics, not summoner itself. If one target have vulne, bane spread those dots equally strong nearby targets even if those nearby targets have no vulne.

No problem with anything on A2, smn just rocks that instance. Gotta deal with it!

Hey good folks! I need a little help with a SMN hot bar and macro for ps4 (only level 51 atm and I feel like my hot bar is going to get worse at 60). I use expanded controls and disabled my pet hot bar. The only macros I use are swift cast + Summoning macro, swift cast + Shadow Flare, and change hot bar macros. Whats getting to me is that I macro on my expanded controls my pets abilities plus enkindle rouse and spur on one side and then on the other side use the placement obey and the other summoning macros. I was wondering in making like a macro for a buff hot bar then to return back to my main hot bar where my spells are. Any tips or advice?
