Back in i180 (Hive book, full Asuran except second ring), with Rouse, Spur, Enkindle, Contagion, Radiant Shield, Flaming Crush, and Crimson Cyclone used on CD, I had Garuda at 233 and Ifrit at 285.I have done this recently multiple times to test - i183 with a hive weapon so I can provide some insight here. On a 5 minute dummy parse with just the pet attacking, with just Garuda (Obey) and Ifrit(Sic) - Ifrit wins by about 30 dps - which would be amplified a bit with Rouse and Spur usage.

How much did you guys do on each pet because I think it's around 30 more dps with a pot on garuda? I have an old parse of a friend comparing back in i180 with no pot.
(above parse is ifrit, bellow is garuda)
Ifrit's parse was higher because no int pot. However it should be the same result on the long run, ifrit will eventually catch up on a single target.
Keep in mind Radiant Shield is counting as the DPS of the person its on, and yes depending on the fight its a small increase but still an increase. I feel like right now both pets are very viable. How much did you guys do on each pet because I think it's around 30 more dps with a pot on garuda? Low movement fights, with little AoE or targets seperated too much for proper AoE. Ifrit wins.
High movement fights with lots of target switching/AoE- Garuda pulls ahead.
If Garuda is on obey and first on sic - are you using aerial slash in CD?
Hmm - given that it seems to have a long animation and does less damage that Windblade, I assumed it would be a dps loss to use unless there are 2 enemies. Am I doing it wrong?'
Also I am currently of the belief that Contagion beats out the difference between Garuda's and Ifrit's pure DPS difference in attacking.
But that is not accounting for Radiant Shield, which doesn't show up on the parse under the egi - and is adding 50 potency attacks to generally the weakest attacker, short of getting it up on Blinding blades so the OT can get some hits in. At 33% uptime though it may be a significant party DPS increase.

Both pets are definitely viable depending on the encounter. It also depends on the people's preferences.Keep in mind Radiant Shield is counting as the DPS of the person its on, and yes depending on the fight its a small increase but still an increase. who you talking to o.o?
Ifrit's damage will get buffed by radiant shield if it gets hit by physical damage. You can use any of the two pets, don't worry too much about it, this just about maximizing dps, the total dps difference is very minor in the end. I'd say maximum difference would be 30ish dps if you absolutely know what you are doing.Hmm - given that it seems to have a long animation and does less damage that Windblade, I assumed it would be a dps loss to use unless there are 2 enemies. What is the stance on secondary stats?
I have no stat weights, but I'd reckon CHR>DET>>SS, CHR coming up for its dominance in AoE and the ability to proc SS buff which is an actual SS buff and will increase DoT damage while active.
My plan is to avoid SS pieces if there are alternatives without SS, and to otherwise ACC cap while maxing out CHR > DET.
Primary > CRT > DET > SS. SS should be just behind DET as majority of your damage is DoT based but again, I'm no summoner so I don't know how much of an issue MP consumption is now for you all.
