nope ifrit wins on single target, im around 40-50ish dps higher with ifrit on a dummy parse and as for aoes if everything dies fast then ifrit is the one to choose for trash otherwise garuda all the way. I still use garuda for fights that require mobility and target isn't quite stationary.
I parsed with astro buffs on a dummy, it feels like spear is the best buff for smns during aoes although arrow during dwt is just awesome <3
sadly my highest parse with ast at i182 was around 1200 dps with screw ups, balance is awesome too especially with foes and battle voice, omg that damage burst is INSANE on the opener!

What do you get without AST, using Ifrit? I'm getting about 1050-1100 no party. Using 1P/2F opener, pot a GCD after Shadowflare. I'm thinking Ifrit's still the go to pet in 3.0 if Radiant Shield can do some work but gotta do more testing, cause I generally don't get the 1,100 people report while using Garuda, on a dummy, so I might be making a mistake here or there unknowingly.nope ifrit wins on single target, im around 40-50ish dps higher with ifrit on a dummy parse and as for aoes if everything dies fast then ifrit is the one to choose for trash otherwise garuda all the way. I just got 1113 with Ifrit no party. 18% crit using a similar rotation to the one Haven posted. Are you using Draconian pots ?What do you get without AST, using Ifrit? Was 12% crit, X-pot, last I tried was 1,070. Opener is:
B2 > M > B > Swift + Fester > Shadowflare > Rouse + Spur > R2 > Pot > R2 > RS + Pain > R2 > Fester + DWT > R2 > Enkindle + Aether > R2 > 3D > R3 > R2 > Fester > R3 > R2 > Deathflare
Then following basic DoT upkeep, keeping stacks alive until DWT can be used with 3D + Aetherflow, get 2 Festers per DWT, use Rouse + Spur on CD. Parse ended at around 3:50, after a final Fester. Not sure if the 1100s are just more crits or a better end time or smoother execution, or if my opener is simply flawed enough to give me a few % deviation.

I'll ask someone to parse me and send the screenshot soon if it helps? I use the 2pf/1f opener. The opener goes like this: B2>M>B>pf>ruin2>swiftcast+fester>Shadow>rouse+spur>ruin2>pf+af>ruin2>enkindle>ruin2>raging+dread>ruin2>fester+tridisatser> ruin3 spam>ruin2>fester+deathflare.
Could u provide a detailed parse for that, ACT pls? If your friend parsed you then request a screenshot please, it will help analyze a lot of things.
