That seems.. Hilariously high.
I was getting 10 DPS on Rav EX solo tanking it - that's with the entire raid eating a cleave + main tank damage.

Apparently Ifrit does ALL magical damage now including auto attack, meaning Storm's Eye/Dancing Edge has no effect. Initially I thought only Dragon Kick stopped effecting Ifrit's DPS. Can anyone confirm with data? Also how are those openers looking? This is proving extremely challenging as a PS4 player who cannot parse. I don't want to bother my PC friends so much Q__Q.

I personally tested Ifrit and Titan, under the effects of slashing/ blunt / foe last week. The only thing that modifies their damage is Foe Requiem in terms of abilities.
all converted to magical damage, has been confirmed by the patch notes 3.0 somewhere. If i remember right it has something to do with spellspeed influencing ifrit's skillspeed, not sure about this part but yeah foes buffs ifrit now.Apparently Ifrit does ALL magical damage now including auto attack, meaning Storm's Eye/Dancing Edge has no effect. but Bards do not use Foes any more.
They are truly thinking that their self buff is better than buffing BLM and SMN, and now ifrit...
._.
if that's the case, we should say that to all bards that are no more singing since 3.0 release
I often use DF quickly without using all potency of DWT if i need some quick burst like on bubbles from P3 on Bis Ex, or butterfly on Ravana Ex
If the butterfly casy too fast, i'll use DF before it ends, even if i still have time with DWT.

Burning Deathflare or painflare isn't a bad choice.
If it hits more targets it is a dps gain, simple as that.
Each GCD of trance using Ruin III is worth 44 potency (additional). Each GCD of blizz II with trance is worth 5*target (additional). Hitting an additional target with Deathflare is worth 440 potency (additional).
Losing even 1 target of deathflare is worth more than 10 GCDs of Ruin III. You'd have to be AoEing something like 90 mobs for the loss of one mob to be worth using Blizz II instead XD
I pop it as soon as any target hits 10% hp, unless they're big bulky targets that you know will take a bit to die.
