Not sure if the lower HP Nidhogg SSS with food and pot is equivalent to what someone did on A8S SSS without food or pot. Here's a 2173 DPS video I had months ago w/ a pure crit build:

Alright, here's an A8S video @ 2080 DPS, even made a few mistakes and clipped alot here. Also i240 book used instead of the i245 Midan one displayed in Maria's video.

Nidhogg SSS has 276.000 HP, comparable to a A6S Dummy. Here's a 2173 DPS video I had months ago w/ a pure crit build:

A8S SSS has 305.760 HP.
Pot and Buff-food will add about 100dps, given the short timespan of 2min even up to 150dps.
Notice i'm talking about substained dps, which doesn't seem to be the case, in the a8s video i had aetherstacks left and mana from not using ruin III.
Nonetheless still impressive performance, the opener is slightly different and the miasma II+contagion wasn't used, gonna analyze it later.
I will see if i can do a comparable video with food and pot on niddhogg ex later on, thanks for sharing!
Fairly positive food+pot won't add that much, and I didn't have the Midan book either so there's that. The whole point of the video was to show off the crit build which has around 1224 crit iirc.Nidhogg SSS has 276.000 HP, comparable to a A6S Dummy.

Should Dreadwyrm trance be held until Tri-disaster is up? I've been picking up SMN again and practicing on a dummy and I notice that a lot of times I'll get 3 aethertrail stacks 20 - 25 seconds before tri-disaster is back up, is this normal? If so, should I hold onto Dreadwyrm trance until I can tri-disaster and contagion during it, or just say fuck it and immediately go for the ruin 3 splam and use tri-disaster contagion after?
so how do u reach trance usually? if you use your stacks just for fester the tri-disaster cd should be nearly done... if you go for the raw shooting out all stacks without break (fester, painflare, energydrain) it's hard to keep a flowing rotation...
There are alot of circumstances in fight that normally decides whether or not its beneficial to go DWT early or not.
For Management purposes as well as other synergy like trickattack i personally tend to keep swiftcast, DWT, Aetherflow and tridisaster together, it locks your rotation but is way more easier to handle.
The other more dps-efficient way to handle it is to time your DWT so you can use Tri-disaster at the end of DWT together with deathflare.
In the end it doesn't really matter as long as you keep Aetherflow under CD, clipping dot here and there normally makes the small differences that ppl need to get used to in order to get to the very high percentages.
Here's the opener I am using in case it was hard to tell from the video.

Has 8 Ruin IIIs, but ED instead of a Painflare to allow for more Ruin 3 spamming.

Mind to compare openers? I would like to see your POV on some things. Here's the opener I am using in case it was hard to tell from the video.

Has 8 Ruin IIIs, but ED instead of a Painflare to allow for more Ruin 3 spamming.
1. Trickattack
Should be start at the 4th GCD, does your swiftcast ruin III hit it too early?
I have a rly tough time to get my Skills in, my TriD hits normally the last second of Trickattack, my Pot is timed that way.
I lately went down on SS so i might need to put Pot after Fester.
2. Pot-timing
Your skills under Pot are 2x Ruin II, 2x Ruin III, Painflare/ED, Fester, Miasma II, TriD. Potentially another Ruin III?
My Skills under Pot are 2x Ruin II, 3x Ruin III, Painflare, 2x Fester, Miasma II, TriD.
Difference: 1x Ruin III, 1x Fester.
3. Raging Strikes
Your skills under Raging Strikes are Painflare, 2x Fester, 2x Ruin II, Miasma II, TriD, 5x Ruin III, Deathflare.
My Skills under Raging Strikes are 2x Ruin II, Painflare, 2x Fester, Miasma II, TriD, 6x Ruin III, Deathflare.
Your Ragingstrikes actually last longer than DWT, so you get additional (prob Ruin III without DWT).

A few notes:
Pot-timing lines up with TA.
RS lines up with DWT.
Enkindle lines up with RS in terms of CD.
Aetherflow, Swiftcast, TriD and Contagion linees up.
Extremly tight Opener, if you are 1s to late/early on Pot or RS you miss alot.
Probably missed the earlier Aetherflow Timing and maybe some other Stuff, mind to talk about it?
Cheers,
Maria
