Gonna pop in here and ask a quick question. Sorry if it was covered. With the new Tank class changes with Enmity generation did Titan Egi get altered in any way? Thanks.

With 733 spellspeed in Dreadwyrm Trance, I'm able to consistently get 5 Ruin III's and 1 Ruin II->Tri-Disaster->Fester along with the Deathflare finisher. The Ruin II->TriD->Fester can be in between the Ruin III's or at the very end and it still works fine. This just requires pushing each spell/ability out as soon as possible.
But the odd thing is, if I try using 6 Ruin III's and try to finish with a Deathflare, it seems a lot more difficult and I think I've only gotten the Deathflare out 2-3 times in many tries even on a dummy. I'm wondering if Ruin III"s animation delay is just a few milliseconds longer which may be causing this, anybody else experiencing the same thing?

Hmm I'm not sure if my own opener is valid
Precast Shadowflare, precast BioII
Miasma, Bio, Painflare, Fester
R2 Rouse Spur
R2 Enkindle
R3,R2 Fester, R2 Aether, R3,
M2 Swift RS DWT (clipping happens)
R3 Tri, Fester, R3x4,
R2 (if enough SS which I have) Fester Death
Shadowflare
With this Raging Strikes ends right after the Shadowflare cast. Thoughts?

Sounds like a potency loss to me.
Check this spreadsheet for some opener comparison (still based on 3.15 - but atm I doubt we can change much without stacking tons of spell speed)
What to meld in gear capped on crit, if you only use IV's?
I'd say determination, but looking on the (3.0) stat weights and looking on the materia..
It's
6 det * 0,147 AP/det = 0,882 AP
and
9 ss * 0,119 AP/ss = 1,071 AP.
So I guess it's better to meld 9 ss in the midian earrings (i220)?
a potless opener ive been using (due to being poor) is
precast shadowflare, rouse and spur
bio2, miasma, bio (raging fester)
ruin2 (painflare energy drain)
miasma2( af, swiftcast, dw trance)
swift ruin3 (tridisaster enkindle)
r3 spam, clip gcd to fester before raging runs out
r2 deathflare if time allows, otherwise clip gcd after r3 to deathflare.
there are a lot of problems with this opener, such as deathflare not being in rs, and a fair amount gcd clipping. will probabaly change my opener after reading up on what others do here
New to summoner here, should I ever be aiming for 2 festers during DWT?
For DWT I've been doing Miasma2/Ruin 2 > SC+DWT > Ruin3 > AF+Tri-disaster > Ruin3 x4 (contagion) > Fester+Deathflare

For the opener DWT, you will likely only ever be able to do 1 Fester without losing potency in between. However, for every DWT afterwards, Yes, you do want two Festers under DWT.
I may be alone on this opinion but I do not like using AF under DWT outside of the one in the opener either.
Since 2p1f is at least 2-3 GCDs faster, I mostly use that one (and 2f in DWT then).. at least when paired with DRG (BL) or NIN (TA).For the opener DWT, you will likely only ever be able to do 1 Fester without losing potency in between. So outside of the opener, do most people hold/time their AF stacks so that you have 3 again the next time you enter DWT? If that's the conventional method to maximizing DPS in the general rotation, I've been missing out quite a bit.For the opener DWT, you will likely only ever be able to do 1 Fester without losing potency in between.
