BRD/MCH , Heal and OT is undoublty the most effective sac to go with assuming all players in that group is on a similar skill level. But generally, groups will sac their lowest DPS and in some groups, BRDs/MCH don't fall in that category.

Can you make pets change targets while on sic mode or do they have to be on obey?

Sure, just Sic unto a new target and it will default to it. Only do this with Ifrit which suffers the least from going on Sic, Garuda is just terrible on Sic.

Oh cool I didn't realize that sic functioned as an attack command too (been playing mostly as sch). I just thought it put the pet on auto-pilot. Thank you

Anyone has A4s tips to share? When do you usually pop each DWT?

Haven't played SMN in 3 months, since we were like i195~ and our pushes were slow as balls, but basically the whole fight is a DWT saving game. Stagger out Festers/Banes (if Baning) well enough that you can use DWT + 3D in an efficient manner, if the leg only has 15s or less on it don't even bother with DWT or 3D until the next leg. Most SMNs I've seen use 3D on their Jagd instead of with DWT on legs 3 and up, for burst aggro purposes I imagine. Don't sac if you can help it, at worst you should be the only DPS to sac if you are saccing because a healer + OT should always sac with a SMN in the group. RS start > leg 3 > start of final phase > whatever timing works best for your final RS, preferably with pot and the group's final Litany.

Already doing these. I don't 3d on add, I just manually cast then fester and that's enough to get aggro.

Doesn't get much better than that unfortunately in full i210. In fact I on average do very close to that if I don't get good crits.

SMN single target mang ... it needs some help. If 3.1, SMN's in for a rough 4 months IMO.

Yeah, I do about 1430 on a decent run in full i210. Seems fine given the job's superb AOE and multidotting capabilities.
