PS4 Keyboard

Hey guys. I'm currently trying to find the perfect keyboard to play the game with. Chatting on the PS4 without a keyboard is hell. I'm tired of stopping in the middle of a run just to write a word. To all the PS4 users out there, what are you guys using? Looking at the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 right now. Seems good with the added touchpad.

I use a wireless logitech with a touch pad, and it works great. The only issue I have is that it enters sleep mode if I don't type for around 5 minutes.

I use a $10 belkin USB keyboard. Works great! The cord reaches fine from ps4 to couch

I'm probably not the best person to answer this question, but anyway for my 2 gil...


If you don't plan on actually playing the game on PS4 with a mouse/kb and you just want it to be able to converse with group members and friends easier, I would just get the cheapest thing you can find with a USB (or wireless if you prefer, but I find a wired connection is more stable on PS4 than a wireless). There is no added benefit to having a touch pad on your keyboard if you aren't going to switch from controller and actually play the game in mouse/kb mode. If you want all the bells and whistles for for something you only plan on talking with, you are more than welcome to do so.

I use a garbage $8 Logitech wired keyboard I bought at Wal-Mart years ago. The only thing I do with it is chat with people. It's still annoying if you need to type to people during a fight when you play with controller, but I mostly stick to a group of people where we all vchat together so that problem doesn't happen very often for me.

Anyway, I hope you choose what ends up being right for you!

I use this it isn't wireless but I like the fact that I can type in low light easy

I use a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 myself. Have been since I was playing this game on the PS3. Works well, and saves me a hell of a lot of time when it comes to typing.

More or less any USB keyboard will work, including wireless ones. I have the logitec one that was built for PS3 and uses bluetooth, the only problem it has is worn keytops.

Just choose a keyboard you are comfortable with.

I used a $10 logitek board. Worked perfectly. I'd suggest however, to get a keyboard that has either a touch or audible response. Soft keys drove me insane.
