PS4 upgrade

Hi, Can anyone tell me step by step how to upgrade to ps4 version now that the free campaign is over. I am so lost and not bet tech savvy here. Do I need a new ps4 version of the game or will my current disc work?

If you didn't do the upgrade before the campaign ended then you just need to buy a PS4 copy of them game, install it and register that to your current Final Fantasy XIV account on MogStation and you should be good to go.

People who did the upgrade on MogStation during the campaign got a free upgrade to the PS4 version, but lost access to their previous PS3 version.

Oh okay so I can play my char on both machines then?

You will be able to use any version you paid for. I am one of those "Crazy people" who have bought and have access to all systems (just in case). Make sure you add the code to your existing account. When done correctly it will show up in the Mog Station.

Just remember that your hotbars and UI will have to be completely reset on each system. They will not be there when you switch systems so having access just means you can log on. However for me since I am normally on PC and I don't want to travel with a bulky case, I just take my PS4 and take a little time setting up when I get to my travel location.
