This is really helpful. Nothing worse than tomahawk on the run, turn around to hs/ss/bb and have no hate on anything with mobs wrecking the healers :-( I have started to do this in game naturally, but hadn't consciously realised it yet.I would like to offer some advice, RE: the Five-Headed Dragon that doesn't normally come up because tanks don't typically notice it.
It's ideal to tank him far back, yes. However, don't move him back at the start of the pull. When you pull, either melee pop their CDs and you move him disrupting their GCDs and causing a DPS loss, or they don't pop their CDs immediately which also becomes a DPS loss. Just wait about 15-20s before you actually move the boss back - this also allows you to actually establish threat as opposed to wasting TP on Tomahawks or whatever.
GL in WoD.
If you just OT and actually grab adds you will be better then 99% of the tanks that que for it, I go dps to gear my alt jobs and just watch the 3 fight for hate on the main boss while adds wreck the mages
WoD tank as for me is a good starting point to learn big mechanic later on coil raid.
But with the overgear factor, you will not feel much the difficulty there.
Just focus on Big eye boss, Cerberus dog, and that floating ghost last boss.
I'm not sure about the EU/NA, but in Masamune B is main tank, A for belly, and offtank from B & C pull the chain normally.
Don't worry man everything will be OK.
