FAO Mods : I have recieved 2 early access codes

I have pre ordered FFXIV HEAVENSWARD collectors edition on day 1 and received my early access code at the same time. To my surprise , today checking my emails I received another early access codes. Now I have 2 of them and they are both completely different. is this normal ? Am I the only one who got 2 Codes? Is the first one that got sent out to me broken? or just a simple mistake?

I'm only asking because I wouldn't like it to be the day of the early access and then I get told that codes are already been used And cannot access the game.

I'm about to check mine, but I remember some people (myself included) had codes originally that didn't work. SE said they would fix this and send new ones, I think. Did you attempt to redeem your original code?

I guess that confirms that Amazon buyers don't get the early access code. I haven't received anything.

Shame...but oh well :/ Would rather wait a bit longer than have to deal with cruddy Digital Rivers handling things.

Yea, it's a shame Amazon was authorized to distribute pre-order codes for 2.0, but not now. I will have to cancel my pre-order there and switch over to the SE store it seems.

Digital River doesn't handle SE orders anymore.

I too purchased from the store, I was sent an email about Pre Order details, and at the bottom, there was a green button for activation, which I did. At the end of it, it give me the EA code.

I bought from the NA store and received the email that tells you how to activate via the Heavensward webpage. After using the code there, I was able to activate it. I think the people receiving this second email are people for whom the first one they got said it was already claimed (or, maybe, they never tried to redeem the code yet but it was in the batch of the ones that showed as claimed already). I haven't received any 2nd email -- I'm assuming this is because the first one allowed me to activate without the "already claimed" issue.
