Need help with a benchmark score!!

    Hi Guys!!

I would like to get some help.
I actually play the game with a Samsung RF411 (http://www.solonotebooks.net/product...m-6-gb-640-gb/)

I know that my laptop is really crappy but i actually could play the game decently...
I ran the Benchmark and i got a score of 1833 (Slightly Slow)... IMO is really crappy against the 8k-11k scores that i saw in other thread

Right now im trying to get the MSI GT72 Dominator PRO (but im not so sure yet...)

    http://www.solonotebooks.net/product...dominator-pro/

Anyone here that owns that laptop could tell me how much score you get in the benchmark or at least someone could tell me an accuarate estimation of the score.

I know that getting a desktop PC is way more powerful and WAY MORE affordable... but i must stick with laptops.

Any info is really appreciated and i accept suggestions about different models or specs.

What settings were you using in your initial benchmark? Making changes to the settings (especially shadows) can make a big change.

I just ran the Benchmark with the default settings and with Direct X9, but im trying to get a laptop that could run the game with high settings (Or at least a bit above average)

With My RF411 i play the game with the lowest settings and im not really satisfied because is the gameplay is not really smooth at all.

To be honest im from Chile and i can't import a gaming laptop due to customs fee and taxes... (Stupid $1000 limititations)
And there is only 1.... ONE... Store that sells gaming laptops

And my only options are the ones that this store sells.... If you can scroll to the last pages the gaming laptops available are there.

If you can afford those expensive laptops, you should be fine pulling off a minimum 8K (likely to hit around 10k), just based on the specs. I wouldn't want to raise your hopes with higher numbers though, just because I don't know the algorithm that's used for the benchmark, as it's not just based on FPS.

    That Would be nice...
Like i said im not sure if i should buy that kind of laptop due to the price...
Specially if i buy it in my country... it cost $1000 bucks more than buying it in Ebay, but i can't charge dollars to my paypal account with my bank account and my credit cards don't let me purchase anything above the $600 and my bank is not interested to increase my credit card limit to $2300-$2500. So Ebay is not an option and sadly due to customs regulations importing something of that value will make me pay taxes, fees and the honorary of the customs guy that process my purchase in the office.

    *Sigh*

Don't take the benchmark as gospel. I put every setting on high (DX11) and it said that I could run it fine. In a real game scenario there's no way i'd get it as smooth as that.

Geez.. That laptop you linked to in your first post is about 6-7 times the cost of my (non-gaming) laptop.

I'm running on a laptop with..
    Intel Core i5-4210U 1.7 GHz
    8 GB DDR3L SDRAM
500 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive (SSD was not an option, but I'm still hoping to swap it out eventually)
    15.6-Inch Screen, NVIDIA GeForce 840M
    Windows 8.1, 7-hour battery life
Costed me $600--not great, but I needed a replacement fast.

I play the game on max settings, 1280x760 screen res. I don't get 60+ fps; I actually prefer 15-30 fps because anything higher actually gives me motion sickness.
Everything in the game runs fine aside from taking a bit longer to load large crowds.
Benchmark score for dx11 is 3584 (High).
    And I am content.

By no means do I recommend my laptop, but since price is a concern for you, I do recommend asking yourself what you really need out of your laptop before you consider a gaming one.

It kinda depends just what you want from your laptop, the msi one you linked is way more than you need for decent game play.
An Acer Aspire V3-772G-7616 17.3-Inch would come in at under that $1000 mark and be more than adequate to give you a score to make a lot of people jealous.
