I think the best way to implement a parser, if it's truly for the players own benefit, is in a training dummy type situation, rather than actual content.

My FC raid and have a great time, but when the DPS is low, we don't need to know who is failing hardest. We just keep trying and eventually succeed. I would hate to have any one player in the group suddenly have to face being the lowest DPS on the scoreboard after every fight. That would be demoralizing and take the fun out of it for any player. Bear in mind that even a good DPS could end up being last in the group all the time due to a great group.

On the other hand it would be great to be able to work on a training dummy and see how much you can improve DPS. If you feel like sharing then you can with your friends and then work out ways to improve.

There are some people in the FC who I can tell (by playing with a lot, their aggro compared to others, and watching / hearing about their little tricks / ideas) have great DPS. They don't care that we are failing and bitch at the other DPS - they love pushing their self that bit further to compensate. That's the mentality I respect from elite gamers, not getting pissy about having to work harder because of 'noobs' and 'casuals'. They enjoy pushing / challenging themselves and respect others who don't want to / can't easily do the same.

If you don't share that mentality, there are many players like you who want each player in the group to pull their weight. Keep working on building your static, and hopefully you'll soon have no worries, but I don't want to see parsers in the dungeons / raids.
