Yeah, alot of these are very useful information and would've been fun to read while loading into zones.

Looking the the wiki it looks like they planned on implementing lore quests. They had icons
These "Lorequest" icons are found in the files of the game, but are not yet used.

Well, maybe they relate to the Library that Fern has been trying to get added to the game?

In the trailers posted a few weeks back there was a Sharlayan Library (?) that showed a Scholar.

It looked like a dungeon, but who's to say that we can explore it and get extra "lorequest" after clearing it from monsters? Maybe it can be like moogle delivery quests where we get a new batch per patch?

It was mentioned that DoLs will have certain access to various regional lore in 3.0. Might be that?

    From: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2919167

Additionally, we’ll be implementing regional folklore, which are high-level items for those who have reached the new level cap. Think of these as the Disciples of the Land equivalent of master recipe books.

Wow, love this lore bits, now I'd like to know more about Meracydia, miqo'tes and their possible Allagan slavery!

There's something going on with the Allagans and at the very least the Seekers of the Sun, if a certain wayward prince is any indication, but my gut tells me that it isn't simply that the 5+ races lived in perfect peace and equality during the Third Astral Era...

Since the Allag Empire lasted so long, I do believe that all (or most) of the other races(including their respective clans) were enslaved/ subjugated just like what the Garleans are doing right now.

However, since they lasted so long (thousands of years?) then perhaps the racial boundaries diminished somewhat? Clearly, pure-blooded Allagans >>>all, but maybe the other races ended up having decent positions and were more or less treated equally pre Allag Xande clone's reconquest?

We know that G'raha Tia's ancestor (a trusted companion of the Allagan princess) was given Allag blood. Although with interbreeding possible, I'm not sure if he was a miqo'te

My actual suspicion on that is that at some point in the very recent past, the current chosen heir to the line of "Desch" boned a female from the Gryphon clan and managed to (somehow) pass on the trait without meaning to, which also explains the loss of any oral tradition that you'd think would be passed on even if Salina's actual memories had faded. The "Allag" clue was probably the last to fade, but G'raha wouldn't have even had that if not for his grandfather. Still trying to figure out why G'raha had a hard time as a kid for having the same glowing red eye as the nunh who sired him, but it may simply be that the Gryphon are much more integrated into Sharlayan society than, say, the Drake to Ul'dah, or the Wolf to Limsa, and it was the non Miqo'te who bullied him.

We can explain everything based on the rules we know, but any tiny reveal could change that. This is all a story that could easily never be told, though, so I'm speculating just for the lulz.

I thought the implication of G'raha's Allagan eye was that Miqo'te are somehow related to the Allagan genetic engineering projects. Miqo'te are "from Meracydia", which was subjugated by the Allagans. Maybe making cat people was one of Amon's side projects. Pic related.

I dont think that is true.
And who said that Miqo'tes are from Meracydia?? All we know is that they came to Eorzea during the Fifth Umbral Era, we dont know nothing about their origin lands. Maybe they were just nomad tribes that moved during those times looking for food, as the lore said.
My opinion on G'raha's ancestors is that on some point of time, probable time after or during the Fight Umbral Era, a hyur and a miqote fall in love or just happened the orther, what do we know what could have happen after a new race showed up on those times lol. Also has being how more than a millenia, and if inter recial relations can be done. then is possible that the ancestors of G'raha were hyrus decendants of the allag civilisation
