It was closed, yes, but it remained open for several hours. In all that time it only got 3 responses, none of which were terribly supportive. Sounds like a collective "yawn" from the JP community.

I don't normally do this, since I mostly just read the forums on my downtime at work. But I felt bad reading this.
Basically what everyone said before me was correct but I'd like to add a bit more detail into it.
First, RMT isn't a problem on JP servers, I play on a heavy JP server and I've only ever gotten 1 tell like a year ago.
Second, It is correct, there is no JP hotline. However, JP players seem to have a tendency to get heard more. The ATEs they hold around Japan get a lot of face-to-face contact with Yoshi-P. That's where they're heard.
Plus they use 2chan mostly. Not the official forums.
Also as for the comments:
The first guy on your post was basically trolling
The other guy with the long post, basically said:
All MMOs have this problem and it's impossible to get evidence for it, even if they could it's a HUGE RISK for the company to start banning players. Additionally, he views your post as a single opinion (not the majority). - This is common in Japan.
The other posters were 2 English speakers you can tell you.
And the thread was locked by the mod.
So, good luck, but it's something the US group needs to cover not the JP group.
If I knew how to translate my petition into JP, I most definitely would. That way they couldn't say it was just a single opinion. Would be hard for them to say that with 200+ sigs supporting.
I really don't see why the JPs would care about it. Since they play by the same set of rules as the EN community, and it ends up as they not having a problem but the EN players do, then they will just regard it as an EN community issue, not a game issue. In other words, they reckon we reap what we sow.

I am playing on another JP server, but I confirm what has been said. No RMT problems on JP servers, my Black List is free of this.

Also true about face-to-face with Yoshi-P. This guy is really kind and listen to people. I discussed with him about problems with helping friends in Coil. This has been fixed some months later.

Normaly a non JP post in the JP thread will more then likely get moved here, but if it is asking the japanese public there views it may stay there it depends on the moderators,
But i am curious what our eastern friends think of this issue as well :3
Sometimes you just got to have Some fun

What about win selling? How often does that appear in the PF for japanese servers?

JP people can't understand English, otherwise they use google translate like us who want understand JP people.
