Tam-Tara Deepcroft

So I'm from Ul'dah and I'm at the point in the story where I need to complete the dungeon Tam-Tara Deepcroft. For whatever reason I cannot access the Central Shroud. The gatekeeper won't let me pass. Are there some side missions I need to complete first so they let me go? They just say that an adventurer with experience may pass.

The White Wolf Gate to access Central Shroud can't be access until a later level. You can get to Central Shroud otherways -- there's 5 entrances total:

Access through North Shroud
Access through East Shroud
Access through South Shroud
White Wolf Gate

The easiest however is just going via Blue Badger Gate in New Gridania.

There are two gates into the central shroud. One is a level 30ish area and the other is the starting area. You are likely trying to go through the high level gate, which requires a quest at that level to be able to leave through it so lower level characters are unable to go that direction. You want the gate down by the Adventure's Guild.

Just to add up you unlock the White Wolf Gate only at level 34-38 maybe even gated behind some story mission. A guy at Aetherite Plaza will have the quest.

Just saying you actually access the white wolf gate at level 29. Which is about when in the story you would head to Haukke Manor. Also yes to access that gate there is a quest that you get its at the atherite in New Gridania.

Heck, for that matter, just warp to the bent branch aetherite, then run west/southwest right to the dungeon entrance to unlock it.

You can also use the main aetheryte crystal to exit from any of the gates (assuming you have activated all the small crystals around town).

Note that once you are able to go through the White Wolf gate, it will also be available from the aetheryte crystals.
