some gears i cant "Need" as ninja

Yes, that's right. Sipahi Shirt has STR stat, so it's not for NIN. You can equip it if you want, but cannot roll need.

DoW includes also tanks... they also cannot roll need. Its about the recommended main stat... Just imagine how many tanks would run around in DPS gear while leveling and made some instances impossible to heal >.<

The Need is locked for main stats... suboptimal stats you can equip but dont make too much sense (the lock is a hint hint I think D: )
