    The new low-level dungeon.

In Yoshida's last letter (or maybe it was the one before that), he mentions they are adding a low-level public dungeon with a couerl NM. I'm just wondering how low is low, 10-15? 15-20? What will the level range be? What should the level range be?

Also, where you guys think this dungeon will be? Will it be something already in the .dats or do you think they will they surprise us with a new zone?

I think in an interview he gave a few months ago he said it would be 15-20... but that could have changed in the time since.

Given the large number of antlings recently seen in Southern Halatali, and the existence in their midst of a tunnel opening that is blocked by an NPC (which is used for all unopened dungeon areas), I'm suspecting that there may well be a rank 35 to 45 public dungeon there involving antlings, and perhaps an antling queen NM of some sort.

A dungeon in this rank range would provide a bridge from Toto-rak (rank 25 to 35ish) to Darkhold (rank 45+), so makes a lot of sense to me.

This is from memory (my client crashed, and I can't get back in), so may not be perfectly accurate!

That said, head south from the Halatali aether gate, and just a little bit east. The green dot from the NPC at the entrance should be visible in the mini-map. He is down inside the beginning of the tunnel complex. There are two short tunnels, both of which lead down to him. It is in an open area -- no walls or cave complexes.

This area has been here since release, but is now surrounded by antlings (since 1.18), leading to my speculation. Enjoy!

    Look here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...rets-of-Eorzea

It has a bunch of the positions for unopened dungeons. Almost every area in the game has them, even past the rank 70 1-shot-kill dragons. So who knows which ones they are going to use

there is also a similar grouping of ant burrows in between broken water and the red labyrinth. But your correct the antlings definitely seem to be much more active these days. Hell there seem to be more of them now then when the game launched.
