SE should never have announced their intention of implementing these features, then at least we wouldn't be waiting for years without any news on the progress

I've been a 2nd Serpent Lt. since before the 1.0 servers went offline. I kept hoping they would add more ranks each update of ARR, but at this point I think the GCs have joined musketeer in development hell.

LOL well heres to hoping new ranks come out. Im really just wanting more GC gear. I may be the only one, but I like glamouring it on occasionally and if its coming out so late, maybe its ilevel will be 110 or higher.

I really enjoy the GC gear as well. I love the Elite sets, but hate hunting so I've only been able to collect pieces slowly. I really wish they would release these for purchase with GC seals. It seems from the stats that they were suppose to be part of the next GC rank up at some point but were given to hunting instead.

There's nothing like Campaign where a Free Company with Ifrit can come in and turn the tide and prevent the Yagudo from taking Sarutabaruta

I loved Besieged and Campaign. With Ishgard in at war with the dravanians, I think events of this type would work well in Heavensward. I doubt they will actually implement them though.

I hope they overhaul the GC shops too. Right now the prices seem out of whack.

Agreed. especially with crafting mats. They're dropping in dungeons at really high rates, so much so that it's not lucrative at all to buy mats with GC seals when I could actually--and this is true on my server--buy mats for almost 1/10 the price in gil what I would pay for them in GC seals. Emery especially sells on the Balmung Market Boards for about 300-500 gil and sell for 9000 GC seals. Scheelite sells for 1100-something gil. It's crazy!

The only thing reasonably priced, imo, are the Lucis mats at 600 GC seals. That's fine. I would personally like to see Moonstones take a 50% drop from 2000 to 1000, but I wouldn't be outraged if they didn't.

But seriously. 9000 GC seals for crafting mats? Get out of here. The ONLY way I would be okay with that is if I could turn in those same crafting mats for even 50% of the GC seals required to buy them in the first place.

I also really hope they increase the rank with the expansion. I have some achievements left for doing leves for each GC and I would love to work on those while I leveled up.

I remember it being mentioned that GC Promotions are coming in 3.0, but I don't remember where. Probably one of the Letter from the Producer... but I don't exactly feel like going through them and finding which one it was in...
