    Advice please...

    I am planning on buying a new gaming keyboard and would like to know what you use (or recommend) when playing Final Fantasy XIV. Please include if you use this on a pc or ps4. I would like to use it for both.

    Are you going to utilize the many special keys a gaming keyboard has to offer?
    Do you need a (colored) backlight?

    If both answers are no I'd aim for the one USB-Keyboard that looks best to you and has a price at or below 20 bucks.

    ^ This. Unless you are planning to play other games with the keyboard. Or if you must have one for this game than just look for a reasonable price gaming keyboard and not go for ones that are over $70ish

    If anything i would rather recommend a gaming mouse with multiple buttons. I have a mouse with alot of buttons to the side so i just macro'd all of Hotbar2 to side buttons. For Example hotbar 2 - 1 is CTRL + 1 on keyboard. Just macro'd it to side button 1 on the mouse, so when i actually use the skill, i just move my thumb over and hit button 1 instead of clicking or holding CTRL.

    A higher DPI on gaming mouses could help you for quick camera turns or less effort to turn a camera full 360 degrees. Fights like Ifrit HM, Leviathan HM/EX or t13 where you need to pan your camera around to look for the direction they are coming from, having good camera speed could really help.
