We were able to get on Balmung by saving appearances (since RP character looks are important!) and then creating a character during off hour. You can also transfer there at any time, but that takes money, obv.

Ooo, so if my altaholicism requires more characters I can branch out onto Siren? Data center swap may be annoying though... do you have a forum or off-game site to share? Uncharted Trails is the site set up for my FC/Community on Brynhildr, as well as our sister FC Black Label Society. so if you guys suffer from altaholicism come our way too! xD
I've been wondering where I should make characters if I wanted to expand RP options because I love alts... Yay threads!

We do, actually, and it's http://neonoah.enjin.com/. While it's under our FC's name, we actually also use it to keep track of weekly events held by other FCs and LSes. It may look inactive at the moment, but that's just due to me having some family issues the past couple months and not thinking to update it. Everything should be cleared up in a couple weeks though, and it'll be back to normal!
There's definitely an RP community on Siren, it just needs people to come out of the closet. The LSes tend to be a bit more casual in their RP, while my FC is on the heavier side, though we're not all-out RP-only. I welcome moar RP friends.![]()
I'll join your enjin then and maybe can be convinced to hop over when I have the penchant for making some Alts :3
You seem more organized than me though ^_^; I'm not a savvy administrator. More of a charismatic Heart...

I never understood the RP part, what does it mean exactly? -i only raid so I just try to understand you people-
RP = Role Play
Essentially we create our character and then we act like them as if they actually were born and live in the world we play.

But can't you just be yourself and have nice conversations? I mean, it's still you when you communicate with others. @.@
I have to agree with this. RP is a foreign concept to me. When you pretend to be something you are not in a video game, it is still YOU behind the keyboard pretending to be something you are not. No disrespect...to each their own, I suppose. I log in and say hello to my free company...but it is ME saying hello to the players behind the characters.
It has a certain joy tied to trying to speak differently even. Not to mention the nice in game events, like "let's populate an inn one day and act out a party!", if it's not your thing it gets hard to understand, but it does carry certain joy to merge with the world that you're in.
Heck some people even live their lives as half-RP without RP-ing. Like one of my friends on our forums that decided based on appearance that his character will like/ dislike certain things and in all MMOs that he's in, he follows that trail of thought. It's not him not enjoying certain professions or classes, but rather deeming some professions and classes unfitting for the character that he created.
I agree 100% with you when you say it is hard for non-roleplayers to understand. I respect you and every aspect of what you do with your time in game. That being said, I find it impossible to even try to "merge" with the world that I am in when I am playing a video game. I have heard people speak of immersion and such, but it is hard for me, personally to immerse myself into a "world" where a phone call, a knock at the door, or a simple glance away from my screen reminds me that the game is simply a game on a screen. A set of pixels that are fleeting, at best. I would rather get to know and talk to the PLAYERS that I am playing with and enjoying than some made up character in a made up world.
Again...just a non-roleplayer perspective.
