Ready checks

Busy on maybe. Busy auto puts you as not ready.

Ah! I see. That's what it is then. There's a HUGE amount of gold sellers on my server that'll just whsp me the same thing over and over and over. I have Busy on always because of that. XD

Should i just not bother with checks anymore when i seem to receive negative feedback over ensuing everyone is good to go?

You should do ready checks for the bosses in raids. If you're getting angry comments about that, tell them to go host their own raid. In dungeons it's a bit redundant and for trash mobs that don't require much CC (I haven't raided in FFXIV yet so I don't know how that goes as far as trash mobs) but otherwise? Certainly. And, really, if you're in a raid and they can't be bothered with a ready check then they probably aren't the best raiders to have with your group anyway, right?
