They will eventually nerf the fight. They already said they were considering it.

If I get it in Roullette, I stick around to help those poor folks out, as long as the first run doesn't prove to me they aren't worth helping.

The reason folks quit as soon as they see it has less to do with how long til you fail, and more to do with the fact that there is an overwhelming number of people who are trying to clear SoF that fall into one or more of the following categories:

- DPS that doesn't know how to dps AT ALL. Doesn't even come close to breaking 200 dps with 100% uptime on a single target.
- DPS don't understand to ignore little adds until cannons are gone, only kill big add if necessary (esp. turtle).
- Tank that doesn't know how to acquire threat quickly.
- Tank that doesn't understand that it's mission critical to bring adds to the front of Vishap NOWNOWNOW so cannons can clear them out.
- People on cannons don't know how shot cannon.
- Person on dragon killer doesn't know to wait for snares.
- People on cannons don't know they need to use snares.
- Healers don't know how to heal. Hey, they can just res and return anyway, right!? NOT A DPS LOSS AT ALL!!
- DPS bad at dps and bad at cannons/mechanics.
- Healers bad at healing and bad at cannons/mechanics.
- Tanks bad at tanking and bad at cannons/mechanics.
- People on cannons somehow never did Stone Vigil and learned to stun shot turtle.
- etc. etc. ETC.

Every failed run I've ever seen had something in common: Tanks did not bring adds to the front IMMEDIATELY for cannons to deal with. This happened even if somehow there were 2 tanks to deal with adds, and a dps was on dragon killer.

Stop being terrible, tanks. The dps check is so light you can actually get people through as long as you actually follow mechanics (which is totally beyond the average player - I understand not magically knowing to begin with, but even after a detailed explanation, most people act like they are just ready to be carried), and cannons > adds is a main one.

tl;dr: If people weren't so bad/desperate to get carried, less people would quit SoF the second they loaded in.
