On DF you're BOUND to find non-experienced players, by DEFINITION. on PF you're bound to find people lying about their experience in order to get in the group, because it's the only way they are even going to have a shot, ALL groups are "farm" or "experienced players only". EVERY. LAST. ONE. OF. THEM.

It's OK to be an elitist, as long as you don't mingle into random parties expecting to find experienced people.
Experienced people have statics. They have FCs. They have their cliques, as you put it. If you go into random matchmaking expecting to find only experienced players, you're in for a very bad time.

The issue here is MISPLACED EXPECTATIONS, that's what you people DON'T GET. If you join a PF group, or if you queue in DF, you should very well know what you're signing up for. Yes, there will be at least one person who never set foot on the place neither he watched a video. That's PAR FOR THE COURSE. If you're not willing to put up with it, YOU SHOULDN'T JOIN THE GROUP AT ALL.

That's what you elitists need to learn. If you come, come to help, come to laugh, come to wipe. Come to teach the fight little by little to the baby ones. If you want to farm, if you want a quick clear, go to your static or your FC. Don't expect to get this from random grouping.
so by what you say,i am the wrong one and the big bad elitist prick because while recruiting people i was very specific that i would like to have people who have finished a fight then proceeded to tell the person that wiped everyone and doesn't have a clear "not cool bro" and removed him from the party, and not the guy that expected to be carried and lied his way through a group then proceeded to waste 7 other people's time, now why does that sound wrong, hmmmmmmm

It's more like they don't have a choice. It's either that or never finding a group, cuz NOBODY wants them.

Oh stop the bs. If the elitists are only a part of the population and nobody wants to help someone, that means not even the non elitists wants to help them. That can only mean that the elitist whiners are hypocrites or the one needing help are unlikable. Considering that it's likely that the latter is part of the former, it's probably BOTH. A server cant be a few thousand strong and only have 7 be non elitist. I'm just gonna go ahead and say that if a self proclaimed casual is having trouble getting groups, it's their own fault. But then again, by the casual's argument, that 7 can piss off because they dont matter. Maybe it's time they realize pressing 'join queue' or 'join party that specifies them not to join' doesnt entitle them to an instant win.

The thing is, I really don't think most casuals are looking for an easy win. That's what elitists do.

Problem is... "Jimmy Noob" wants to do T10. He goes on DF. 40 mins later, he gets a group. One wipe, 2, tank leaves. Replenish ranks. Waiting... waiting... waiting... other ppl start to bail. OK, this isn't going anywhere. leave group.

OK, Maybe on PF jimmy has a better shot. "T10 learning party, come join " on PF. 10 minutes... 20 minutes, some DPS joins. 30 minutes, 1 hour... 2... now party has 5 ppl lacking 2 tanks and a healer. Then people start bailing out. 2 mins later the group only has Jimmy and a BLM who's AFK. Disband.

OK... let's see the other PF groups.
    "T10 farm party. 100 sol = kick"
"T10 clear party, know fight or GTFO"
    "T10 farm, need EXP"

So Jimmy goes on the DF again. after one hour of waiting, he gets a group. One wipe, tank goes all "you guys SUCK" and leave. 4 people leave in sequence. Vote Abandon comes.

Now,... what's the ONLY option left for Jimmy, I ask of you?

Hey, their arms aren't broke either. Instead of lying to get into a group, why not put your own PF up to ask for help? I've seen it happen quite a lot on my server. It works.

Or hell, maybe join a decent FC or LS. People who can't get groups for clears aren't completely blameless. Standing there screaming "no one wants to help me" and only making a half-assed attempt to try isn't going to do any good.

Make friends? Socialize? Find people of similar interests to team up with? How about everything I mentioned in the first part of this post?

On your server it might. Learning parties in Behemoth are doomed to not even fill up.

You say that like the server is filled to the brim with people who are in the same point of the progression, have similar interests AND compatible schedules. Oh, and are ALSO willing to socialize.

Tell that to the multiple FCoB learning parties I've jumped into or made with a friend or two. Plenty of us are willing to help, just not when we're trying to farm. Lying and disrupting our farm runs is a great way to end up on the blacklist of the very same people that are willing to help. It's nothing short of shooting yourself in the foot.

There's a bit of an assumption there, Since DF and PF trends are different on a data center/ server basis. I know from my JP data center times that DF is meant for people that don't have the time to get a full party set up but still want a clear on the content they want to do, where PF is more for the learning parties since you'll be willing to put more time into it. And if you can vouch that every group in your specific PF is "farm" or "exp players only" with no exceptions I recommend a server transfer.
