Please add more voice animation

I have recently migrated to FFXIV from warcraft, and although I love the story line and graphics, the amount of text to read is becoming very dull. I understand voice animations can get expensive, but please add more voice/sounds to the game. Even periodic vocal emotes would make the reading feel much more like a conversation versus watching a movie on silent with subtitles. Right now, that is exactly how it feels. Like watching Advent Children on silent with subtitles.

I agree with you, dubbing gives more emotion for a cutscene.

why not just give us an API, and allow the community to voice the unvoiced cut scenes ourselves, and build an addon that would support them? I'm sure there are people in the community that would love to do that. People could subscribe to people's voice over channels that would connect with the game API and whenever that quest dialog comes up, the custom voice chat file would be used, rather than silence.

I remember some scenes during beta having voice overs, but on release those same scenes were void of any voice acting; which was really odd.

It'll be nice having voice acting for other texts. Lately I find myself just skipping unvoiced cutscenes or skipping through the text. As I last checked, this is a MMORPG not a visual novel.

I don't mind the reading so much, and I absolutely hate skipping Cutscenes, cause the non-voiced ones usually have some pretty big things that happen, and I hate missing stuff.

My god would I love this, because suddenly 3rd party tools everywhere. Wouldn't even care about voiced scenes anymore lol.
