Heavensward Art (Potential Spoilers)

So... this may fuel a LOT of speculation about events to come. After seeing this, I felt it appropriate to bring it here to the Lore forum. I'm going to hide the image link to try to prevent any unfortunate spoilers. Also, keep in mind there is no telling how this encounter may play out. It's completely out of context, but it's pretty clear who the parties involved are. Click the spoiler and continue on in this thread at your own risk.

I think it's safe to assume the Dragoon on the left is Estinien, the center is Derplander, then one of the twins and of course Iceheart. I can only imagine what is meant to happen here. Part of me deeply hopes that this means instead of just reuniting with the Scions, we instead are forced to take matters into our own hands. I suspect that Hydaelyn has passed off guardianship over us to Midgardsormr... who is clearly interested in seeing us accomplish things on our own merits. Won't it be interesting if these wind up being some of our new allies?

And judging from the missing eye, the dragon is Nidhogg.

It looks like some sort of... meeting with Nidhogg to see what's up with this whole war thing.

Actually, that isn't Nidhogg. While we can't see the other eye, the dragon in the benchmark is actually shown to be missing and eye (Link to that point int he video). And the one in the benchmark looks more like a "Malice Bighter" (which is Nidhogg's translation). Whoever that is, it'll be interesting as he seems less aggressive than the other dragons we've met. Maybe he'll be the Ramuh of the Celestial Dragons.

It could also be they changed what side he lost in between that art and the benchmark. When did the picture come out?

Ok I missed that then...still possible, more so since while I believe its Nidhogg in the trailer I don't remember us ever having a good angle of his left eye (which is why I thought/think it is him). Still this is very interesting even if it isn't Nidhogg...

I would said that the the picture shows very well who might be that dragon. I mean its kind of obious if you take a good look

It's not obvious that the white dragon is Nidhogg. There's no real evidence that he is at all. The only evidence that he is is that we can't see one of his eyes, which is circumstantial at best. The blue dragon in the benchmark is shown to be lacking an eye, is blue to match his sworn nemesis, the Azure Dragoon, and looks much more fittingly fearsome as Nidhogg is the Malice Biter.

If you're suggesting that the white dragon's identity is any other dragon, I'm not sure which one it would be obvious that it is.

The picture shows that we see 1 pupil on his eye and on the orther one is all black, and well why no showing his 2 green shiny pupils? and no its not clear but the video doesnt show strong evidence that the dragon has just 1 eye, we only the right side of his face.
