Question about Xaela Auri Eyes [Please Fix]

While playing around in the benchmark character creator, I found myself unable to create a female Au Ra that looked fierce/scary/demonic. I could, however do this quite easily with a male Xaela Au Ra. The difference, I realized, was the eyes.

The male Xaela Au Ra have a darker eyeball, dark grey or possibly black. It's not the eyeliner that most of the faces have, it's the actual eyeball. This allows for some pretty wicked looking Auri dudes.

The female Xaela Au Ra eyes are the traditional white. What is the reason for this? I had assumed eyes would be a shared genetic trait among the Xaela clan, something that further differentiates them from the Raen.

This tiny eye detail seems like ridiculous pandering to a fan-base that already has two cutesy/waifish races all to themselves. Please, SE fix this tiny little thing so that we can have both consistency regarding races/clans and variety in character models.

    Thank you for reading!

The reason is gender dimorphism. That's the long and short of it.

Yeah, I've read that in other threads regarding the size difference, and that's all well and fine. But if that were the case, for the purposes of consistency, then the Raen should have a similar difference and they don't.

It's simple, dark eyeballs arn't cute. Girl characters are made to be cute.

Edit: You can't "Fix" something that's not broken to begin with. "Change" would be a better wording.
That is ofc if this eye-thing wasn't intentional.

    Eyes 3
    Eyebrows 3or4
Scales all off except for 5
Set limba rings darker then the interior eye color (I just did grey in purple out to test
The issue is the males have a heavy brow and almost all the eyebrown and eye shapes have an downward pinned angle. The females have limited options to pull the eyes and eyebrowns in a downward angle which may be the issue you are seeing.

As you can see from that discussion, the male Xaela do have a darker eyeball.

No, the male Xaela really do have a grey/black sclera.

You're right, "change" might be better, unless it was an oversight on SE's part. However, I disagree that all girl characters are made to be cute. See Femroes: huge, BA, fierce-looking warrior women (I played one for a long time) and Highlanders can have a fierce look. If you try real hard, Midlanders can be made to look a bit scary (see my headshot).

But like most midlanders and catgirls, the female Aurai are excessively cute and it takes a bit of work to create one that's even slightly fierce-looking. Scary, sure, if you think pretty + dead eyes = psychopath scary. Yet their male counter parts can look downright demonic and fierce. I just want the same option for females.

True enough the eyes are darker, however I would still argue it is the angle options not the coloration that cause the biggest issue with getting an evil look, setting the male eyes and eyebrown to 2 (their levelest option) softens their look quite dranatically.
The point being dove eyes on the females are still going to be dove eyes even if they are darker.

I take your point about the angle of the eye and the eyebrow adding to the darkness of the eyeball and the resulting look of the eyes overall on the male Xaela. That definitely adds to it. While it would be super awesome to get similar options for the female Xaela, I don't ever see that happening. However, this small remedy would add consistency between the clans and give female Xaela a bit more of an edge to them, which they totally deserve. I mean the only difference right now between the female Xaela and the Raen is literally the color of their horns/scales.
