And what people don't realize is casters can bust tanks pretty easily doing exactly that lol. It's melee that are designed to crush casters, and tanks tear through melee. It's a loose rock-paper-scissors deal, but it's still there.

Yeah I usually don't have a problem winning a 1v1 against melee. However, I'm very dependent on cooldowns and a majority of them need to be ready to use.

Black mage or smn have no chance to win versus a good drg . Fortunately , Few drg are good in pvp ! x)
Otherwise , it will be cool to have duel system on this game . This option exist on all mmorpg's , why not here ...?

I'm gonna have to disagree with this. That's hell of a conclusion to jump to by theory-crafting alone and I'll continue to disagree with it until I see it in practice.

SMN is awesome in 1 vs 1 with all cd's and pet and det/crictal gears

we talking about 1vs1 deul and your VIDEOS showing us how to attack ppl when they mounting then ( I really think blm and smn have no chance to win versus a good drg )

and i dont want to talk about 1vs1 duel in PVE game

Not sure if it's been suggested,because I'm to lazy to read the whole post . I think 1v1 class specific duals would work. Tank vs tank .... Healer vs healers, melee vs melee... It's the only fair way of doing it. I main as a ninja and find fighting a healer or ranged more tedious then fun. Id be all about fighting a dragoon and monk !
