Lancer is probably the easiest, and it's also the least squishy of the DPS classes so you have a bit more margin for error.

The main difficulties in playing DPS come with off-GCD skills (Ninja), positional requirements (Monk) and proc-based mechanics that mean your rotation can vary dynamically (BLM). DRG has almost none of these - it has all of two positional skills, which you need to use about once every 20 seconds each, and it only has a few off-GCD skills that you just use whenever they're off cooldown - so in terms of things to handle with the rotation and stuff, it's pretty simple to learn.

Thanks again just looking for a DPS class that's easy to pick up and do some end game without killing the group.

Well, it really just depends. They all have their strengths and drawbacks. Ranged DPS usually hit harder but have weaker armor (I'm not sure if Archer fits in.) You get compensated by having much stronger attack but you have to learn to keep yourself alive. Melee DPS generally hit weaker but can survive more. This is offset by the fact that you're tanking the mob so there's always more risk in that.

I suspect that this is less an issue with the DPS class and more an issue with this being your first MMO. It's a different mindset. You could try to fiddle with your UI to bring your notifications around closer to your character so when you zone in, it'll be easier to see. Give familiar with MMOs and just try to relax. Level the other DPS or try healing/tanking. Who knows. Maybe healing will be more for you.
