It's kinda lame that they still havent responded yet after 75 pages.. We are not even asking for a lot here..

You're right, but if they ignore the community (and I mean in general, not specifically this thread), especially with things where there are so many responses and supporters, then they will lose players. Even if they said 'sorry, we can't do that'. It's the fact they haven't responded at all and this thread was made a while ago.
That's a horrid decision on SE's behalf then. Seriously, if that sort of behavior becomes the norm for SE with regards to FFXIV they're not going to be in a good position for too long.
With the forums they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. Most people would take "We've sent this to development team and they're looking into it" to mean what it does. So that response would be great for most of us. There are some that take that to mean "It's coming in an upcoming patch!" even though that's not what was said.
It's also possible that the answer is that it's not an option and they're resorting to radio silence and hoping it will die down (and if that is the case, they probably are right).

It IS an option though. This really isn't a big thing to ask for, it's not like they literally can't do it or it would affect game play in any way. I think this is why so many people are annoyed about not receiving a response.
Poor phrasing on my part. By "not an option", I meant "will not do this". No argument from me that it is a technical possibility, but the silence may be more from SE deciding that it's not something they are going to do for whatever reason and giving us an outright "No" just isn't something that corporations do. It's easier to look away and whistle quietly and hope that it quiets down.

Radio silence is a very bad way to communicate with consumers. A simple "Sorry, we can't make it happen for x, y, and z" is really all that's needed, the radio silence is just rude. With the forums they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. I think it would be preferable to tell us that we can't have it and a reason behind it. Nothing big or deep, just an answer, is all. Not everything has to be yes or silence, a 'no, we can't do this, because of X' is better than nothing.Poor phrasing on my part. By "not an option", I meant "will not do this". I'ma go punch that.
Tank and DPS
Radio Silence is the Worst Way how they can react to this. It will never die down because they simply combined Faces and Horns that don't match well. Take a look at me i'm basically a Bull walking on 2 Feets...
But there is one Thing why we could not have it: PS 3
The PS3 is already at their wits end with Heavensward, so adding another Character Customization would be the Death Stab. I personally can't understand why someone would play a 2 Years old MMO on a 8 Years old Console, even more when they offered a limited time upgrade to PS4 for free when i understood that right, but oh well. On this Matter though, i'll be honest, i give a rats ass about ps3 players. Drawed the Short end of the stick. End of Story.
You're preaching to the choir here guys. I agree. But there is unfortunate precedent to this behavior (<cough> housing <cough>). and they aren't unique in this. Companies never like to outright say no to their customers.
