Are they really considering flying goobbues? That sounds even stupider then the flying chocobos

Not that precedence helps make things make sense, but flying chocobos have been in the franchise for a while now, since FFIV if I recall correctly. Unless you're referring specifically to the flying fat chocobo, then I really got nothing there.

I know everyone tells me Chocobos have flown in other ff games, it just doesn't logically make sense for even the regular chocobo to fly with wings that are half the size of its own body. But yet not only can it support its own weight with those tiny wings, It can support a person on top of that.
It looks so unrealistic, and the fat chocobo is so much worse ._.
They keep doing things just to do them whether it makes sense or not

I do have to say that it did look more passable as a 16-bit model, but it's just tradition with them. :P I know what you mean though, and I tend to err on more anatomically plausible creations (when it comes to my own world building). I'd love for them to try and explain how they fly.

Why does it have to be realistic? If they went full on realistic we could not have dragon mounts either, or griffins, the warrior of light would have died fighting Ifrit, and we would get tired over time from running everywhere.

Final Fantasy does not need realism, they added things for fun~ pick a different flying mount and ride that one XD i am totally going to test out the flying fat chocobo, that sounds so horrific that it is required for life.. then i will switch to serious mounts, i hope there is a Pegasus, or that our unicorn gets magic aether wings.

Err... on topic... i would like to be able to fidde around with different horn types on different faces... (because i am not playing on the character creator enough already x.x need my soul back please..)

Errr maybe not. But the flying mounts aren't that out there. There's a quest for the chocobo mounts so I imagine there will also be a 'reasonable' explanation they can fly. Ponies are magical already. Goobue has no excuse though seriously....

Anyway I'm dying to find out if selectable horns is or not. PLEAAASE don't make us wait until launch. D:
