Please make the Au Ra horns separate from the faces!

Just to say, support for PS3 is being dropped. My friend used my PS3 CE code and recently had to switch over to PS4 since they would no longer be able to play it on PS3.

PS3 support is still there for Heavensward, but the next xpac and beyond will have it dropped. That said while it won't be a free upgrade anymore players can still use the same characters for PS4 as they have on the PS3 (and technically the PC, but you had to buy instead of being able to upgrade from PS3 to 4)

The horns are such a huge part of the Au Ra's face too, its a real shame we cant customize it.

Saw this link to an old interview for the expansion. It really sounded like we'd have horn customization.

With the Au Ra, this includes both female and male, the emphasis during character creation is on the horns. You'll be able to focus heavily on creating the horns.

I don't know maybe the benchmark really is just limited. Wanted to drop by with this though since I thought it was interesting.

Being fair, between the time they gave the original interview, and the time personal housing was implemented, inflation did increase. I've heard conflicting sources saying so far that they "were just linked in the benchmark" and "this is what you get and the Au Ra were a massive let down that aren't worth a single fantasia going unless you got lucky and the horns and face you liked were fused."

As you can tell, I'm kind of salty. I really want to go Au Ra, I really do, but if this is what we get with Au Ra...well... rip.

Mainly I just want some sort of official statement from SE at this point so I can stop stressing out over Schrödinger's Au Ra.

Was this said in English or translated? I just have a really hard time imagining they ever thought such a thing was viable. CREATE the horns? Considering how the horns will affect headgear/hoods etc that seems kind of ridiculous. Shape and size would DEFINITELY have to be set, or it would look stupid. I'm sure all Elezen and Lalafell know well the pain of having small or a particular shape of ear, and then you put on a hood and suddenly you have giant wings nothing like your ears!! That would be magnified ten times with the size of horns.

If they were thinking of changing colour I can see it, but anything else....

I kinda blame it on Yoshida... Yeah, he saved FFXIV and SE's ass, but he has said stuff in the past that has turned out to be un-true. It's like he can't help it or something. Either way, I've started to take the things he says wit a grain of salt.
