Please make the Au Ra horns separate from the faces!

I swear like this forum is too much of a headache sometimes.. Along with like most sites haha. Sometimes I feel like I oughta just cut off all social media some day for a bit and see how that goes, but I don't think I'd last long before I got bored.

It will probably never happen, I would like to shrink my horns or take them off or a option to hide them would be nice.

Like a Fade slider bar where you can turn horns transparent. But they are still there.

That would probably work.

As I'm sure you're aware, Yoshida has commented on this during the Letter from the Producer LIVE (pasting once more for visibility).

Q: Can you make it so we can change the color of Au Ra horns, and select horn types and face types separately?

A: If this were possible, we would have done it from the beginning. (laugh)

This is going to be a bit technical, but there's a strict limit set for the size of each character's memory allocation, and we try to work within these limits. For Au Ra, we're using nearly all of the available memory at the moment. I'll check again once more, including color changes, but if we made it possible to separately select the horns and face, the point where they connect may end up looking weird, so it could be very difficult to accomplish.

We are definitely aware of the voices asking for this change, and the team is continuing to look into the request. That said, constantly bumping the thread every few days doesn't make it any more visible, it just pushes other topics down the list. As such I will be closing this thread.

Should anything change in regards to the Au Ra face/horn design in the future, we'll be sure to make an announcement.
