Since they said that they can't separate the horns from the faces, how about adding more faces with the different horns? I like the horns curving forward, but that face looks like you ate something sour. If they added more faces to that horn type, then that would break the core system and we would get what we want.

Why does my character picture tend to go MIA until I go back into settings and re-save it?

lol, mine changes between 3 different ones for me depending on how many times i click refresh. Not sure they can't separate them, it would just take more design work. I guess that could be my first true gripe with the game, that seems like such a huge flaw point during the design that you think it would have been caught or adjusted based on beta feedback.

I agree this sounds like the best solution. Perhaps not quite as intuitive as having separate selections, but it means we could get all the combinations while still having just a single ID representing which face&horns to use. All the added flexibility with no additional memory requirements.

(Or at least there would be no additional memory/data requirements in the important areas like how much data is transferred to tell our system who's around or how much our system has to render for each person. The only place needing slightly more data is in the size of the local files that are part of our software telling our systems how to render each face, but that's an easy place to add a bit more data, especially since there it's only needed once and not multiplied by the number of characters within visual range.)
