If You Could Create a Side Quest...

...What would it be? I decided to try my hand at creating my own post-Heavensward side quests, just for fun.

Quest Name: "The Hangover" or "A Little S'nairoh"

    Quest Level: 50 - 51

    NPC: S'nairoh

Quest Summary: S'nairoh has a hangover. She doesn't want her commander to catch her shirking her duties, but she must leave her post to fetch a remedy. There's only one thing to do.

NPC Dialogue: "Ugh... my head... I think I'm going to--urp! ... Have we met before? I'm sorry, I can't see--owww-ow-ow-ow... My head feels like it's going to burst! I'm supposed to be on duty right now, but I think I had a little too much at last night's--ulp! ... I know someone here who could whip me up something for this hangover, but I can't just abandon my...

"Wait... Why don't you stand in for me! I'll be right back, I promise. All you have to do is stand there and keep an eye on the gate. Be right back! Owwww...!"

Quest Objective(s): Stand guard at S'nairoh's post and keep a /lookout for any signs of trouble.

    ---

    Quest Name: "That Snowy Night"

    Quest Level: 55

    NPC: Despairing Dragoon

Quest Summary: Up in the hills of the Coerthas Western Highlands, you meet an Ishgardian who lost his way. Maddened by despair, he turns to you, begging for help. Who was he talking to when you walked up?

NPC Dialogue: "I shouldn't have. Why? Why did I follow you? I stood to gain nothing, yet I... I still left them. I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. Huh?"

Quest Objective: Express your curiosity with /huh, and inquire the Despairing Dragoon further...

Not really a side quest but I would create a bestiary log.

It would list each area and each mob in that area would be listed as ??? until you slay them. Once slain their data can be seen along with some lore on that creature as well as any potential drops they might have. Showing stats of the mob could be optional. Could even give rewards such as exp, titles, gil, w/e for completing an area. Mobs from Fates and Hunts could also be listed but I don't think it would be good to list ones related to quests.

Wild arms 5 had cameos of previous Wild Arms games spread around the world. They would give you side-quests that ended with rewarding you their original outfits from the previous games.

I'd love to see that done here >_<...!

    Quest Name: "The Jenova Project"

    Quest Level: 59

    NPC: Enthralled Allagan Historian

Quest Summary: You stumble upon the remains of "The Jenova Files," a collection of timeworn Allagan documents pertaining to the creation of a being the Allagans called "Jenova."

NPC Dialogue: "Th-th-this! Adventurer! Do you see it?! I--I found them! Look closely, this is a piece of history once believed lost to the ages! These files were written by the earliest of Allagan researchers! From what I gather from these notes, their technology was built using materials from another world! By the gods!"

Quest Name: "Welcome to the Colosseum"

    Quest Level: 30

    NPC: Colosseum Enthusiast

Quest Summary: The introduction of the 1 vs. 1 PvP that the Warriors of Light have always dreamed of. Different modes electable.

NPC Dialogue: "Step right up and bear witness to the greatest show in Ul'dah! This is the Colosseum's grand opening. You can pay to watch, or, if you feel lucky, you may sign up and test your skill against like-minded adventurers in one-against-one combat!"

Quest Objective(s): Sign up for 1 vs. 1 duels. Item levels will be synced, and PvP abilities apply. Duels take place in the Ul'dah Colosseum, and they may be viewed by the public.

    Modes:

Single Match: Fight until one contestant is knocked out. 1 Round/3 Rounds/5 Rounds

To gain Favoritism, you must win the favor of the crowd by performing skills/magic to attack your enemy, or bolster yourself. To gain additional Favoritism, you may collect power-ups that spawn around the Colosseum. Some power-ups may reduce your opponent's Favoritism score, while others may increase yours. Power-ups can have additional effects, such as boosted stats, healing, increased attack speed, or bizarre transformations.
