Look, everyone is anxious to buy this expansion. It would be downright absurd in the most extreme sense of the word for them to not release this at least by 06/16/15 (the final Tuesday update before Early Access goes live). They will not only piss a lot of people off, but they will probably lose a lot of subs as well. Everyone I know on PS4 except for a select few who wanted that dumb dragon, is waiting for the digital version to be released on the PSN Store. Regardless of the conspiratorial marketing scam accusations, there is no way SE will risk losing upwards of hundreds of thousands (theoretical, including PS3 as well) of returning/existing/new players by not offering this product digitally on PSN.

Yes, we deserve some answers. Yes, we deserve more communication. Also...yes, they are probably waiting until the very last minute to release this on PSN. They obviously want as many panicked people as possible (read: this thread) to go and buy it directly from their store because then they don't owe a 3rd party distributor (Sony) any money at all for those purchases. It isn't free to advertise and sell your game on PSN. It isn't free to advertise and sell your game at a GameStop, or other physical retailer. These guys take cuts. Of course SE is going to try and minimize those cuts. It's sound and valid business practices. It is not being done to shun an entire playerbase. This is not some personal vendetta against Sony!!! And imo, you can't use "it being on PSN in Japan" as a valid excuse here when the company has already proven it will flat out charge different countries more money for the same product. We are not their initial audience and that should be duly noted.

But for the love of Hydaelyn, no.....no they won't in any sane mindframe hold this off PSN until it's too late to gain early access. And if for some reason...06/16/15 rolls around and we don't have the option to pre-order this off PSN I will believe the finger-pointing from SE blaming Sony because as a publisher and distributor of a hot commodity, the absolute last thing they would want is for their product to reach fewer hands.
