first of all the physical CE edition price wasnt even converted according to currency values so UK players who want this will be paying £129.99 US players pay $129.99 when this is converted to GBP its around £85 so how is this fair to the UK fan base.

Weeeell sorta yes and sorta no. It depends. I don't recall a FFXI expansion ever pushing the 60 dollar mark, I think they were 40 bucks. It's been too long to recall and too few expansions for me to remember but I know expansion prices typically matches the amount of content given. Instead of complaining about the dollar count, we should consider that the price indicates a rather large expansion. FF MMO expansions are always large expansions, it's just likely it'll take them another year or three to finish it post release....

I'm most curious to see how this expansion is being done. Are they staying true to their history with half done expansion releases? Or after nearly two years of development are they finally bringing it for a expansion release? We shall see but one thing is for damn certain. There's going to be a repeat of early access+launch day. I guaranfreakingtee it. "Oh no they definitely learned their lesson and will be prepar-" No, they haven't. Don't worry, whoever you are that will think that. You will learn the hard way like the rest of us did :x

The expansion only costs $39.99, the CE expansion costs $59.99, but of course includes some extras.

From your past post looks like you only talking about the physical CE which is a person choice to buy there is a way cheaper standard edition also.
