PS4 digital pre orders!! can we have it!

Not that the call centers, even more so Square Enix ones, are known for having people that know the information that does matter...

I would be completely surprised if the said call center gave them a release date for PSN digital version...


That said, this whole situation is absurdly ridiculous... People want to pay EXTRA MONEY for a product SquareEnix wants to sell (i assume) that has no extra cost for square enix (the minions/mounts/glamour helmets are already developed and will be available regardless of PSN store)

However we can't pay USD20 more for these items that have no cost at all for SquareEnix because SquareEnix pretends it's sony's fault (But we do see games that won't be released for the next 3 MONTHS that can be pre-ordered with early access on the very same PSN...)
and then of course any SE representative just vanishes and does not comment on the matter...

On top of that we see that one part of psn has all 3 And when i see this it makes me more upset. Hey SE why dose japan have the bundle CE and Norm ver?but we have nothing at all oh i guess psn EU/NA and steam are all to blame? yeaaaaaaaa

If pre-orders were working anywhere, you could try pre-ordering the standard edition, and then in a couple months (after they've gotten the kinks worked out of the system) get the digital upgrade to collector's edition. Unfortunately, I'm not sure of any stores whose pre-order processing is working. (Amazon, where I ordered from, isn't even planning on sending out our pre-order codes until it's too late for them.)

Funny you should mention this... I just checked on my Amazon order and canceled it because it has not officially shipped.

Stupid question since I'm a little late to this party... but when the bonus code is finally released, where do we enter it to insure early access? I assume PSN?

"Both Early Access and DLC will be run through one combined code that will be emailed starting 6/19. Once customers receive the codes, they will have to go to Square’s dedicated website, select their platform, and another code will be generated. They then take this other code and enter it into either PSN (PS3/PS4) or MogStation (PC)."

I don't know where this "Square’s dedicated website" is, though, since it sounds from the description like it's separate from the MogStation. I also don't know if or how buying it directly though PSN would change any of that.

You answered my question Niwashi. It's entered into PSN, but the code is still pending being generated. Ok.. Add one more hornet to the nest if that June 2nd cutoff date for early access is true.
