I would say maybe look into getting another ps4 or a gaming desktop. Trying to get another laptop that will run ffxiv will prob cost you close to $1000. If you buy a $400-500 laptop it will perform very similar to the one you have now, pretty poorly.

If your dead set on a gaming laptop. A company called MSI makes pretty decent ones at somewhat good value. You gonna want the G series, thats the gaming one.

This is probably the cheapest you would want to go for ffxiv.

Your processor is 1.9 GHz CPU (up to 2.8 GHz w/ Turbo Core) according to my research. This link http://www.microcenter.com/tech_cent...ORE_Technology explains what is SUPPOSED to do. That said, it often falls short when it comes to gaming. I unfortunately can't go too in depth here, however, there is a lot of good information on the internet, and some quick googling should set you on track. If you get Turbocore squared away, there is a VERY good chance it will lead to improved and more consistent performance in ARR.

Yep, like I said please refer to my previous posts, there really isn't a solution to "fix" your notebook. The notebook just simply isn't suited for playing this game. Your best bet is drop a lot of money on a good gaming laptop or get a ps4 like someone said above. No one should ever use integrated graphics for FF14.

If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.

Here is what my laptop is getting on High Settings at it's native resolution. (DX9)

    Score: 2391
    Average Frame Rate: 19.177
    Performance: Standard
-Capable of running the game on default settings.

So you probably have a few programs running in the background using up resources that that laptop needs to play decent framerates. It will never run the game "great" but as far as what it should be doing, yours is much lower than normal.

Recovery will just be a part of the Hard Drive (Partition) that holds all the info in order to recover your Laptop back to it's factory state, as well as has a couple utilities to check it's operation. It is normally full.
